I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved, although I did NOT agree to the extra processes and I also had said that I had highlights done before, but never paid more than $for itRegardless, I'm happy with the fact that I'm getting the money I overpaid back and happy to finally be done with this matter.

Our policy which is clearly stated on the Groupons is that this is for 1st time services only. Groupons can only be used every 12 months is also stated on the groupon. In the event someone does not read that or receives a groupon as a gift we allow them to use the dollar amount paid for...
the groupon towards any full price a la carte service. Occasionally someone tries and use a Groupon more frequently as was the case with this customer. The salon honored it a 2nd time even though they did not have to. This customer used a groupon for a manicure / pedicure on May *, 2017 , July **, 2017 and tried to use a new one AGAIN on this visit in August. We cannot stop a client from purchasing a groupon however it is our responsibility to apply the terms and conditions that are stated for the customers when they make the purchase. I personally spoke with this customer on Tuesday. I asked her why she didn't question the colorist when she started using foils since she would know that's not what she normally had done? She said she knew it was highlights because she's had them before. I spoke with the colorist who says she did...
explain that the desired look would require more than a single process. [redacted] agreed to that. She did not however tell her the exact price increase. So we will refund the additional $145. It's not right that she has slandered us all over social media when she knew what she was getting and was told it would cost more than the services booked. If she was concerned about how much "more" she should have asked first.
