I am rejecting this response because:Date Sent: 10/21/8:47:AMComplaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
The response from Martina B***, sent on 10/20/vaguely delare that *** will also take care of "any additional costs" incurred due to the pick up and return of the structure.
Because the pick up and return option results in specific, not vague additional costs that would not be incurred if the item sold was truthfully advertised, I am requesting a less vague stupulation, that provides greater written clarity, instead of the "any additional cost" statement.
The only reason for the pick up and return is misleading advertismentThe specific "additional costs", are the direct result of that misleading advertimentThe specific additional costs resulting from misleading advertisment which makes the pick up and return necessary, were itemized in a detailed email that was sent, along with documented justification to MrKozlowski, the sale team leader who first addressed my complaint (please see the attached email file and email attachments)As the weather changes, the damage to my topical plants grow more irreparable, and I am sincerely saddened by the reality of loosing themI truly regret that *** will not provide me with the structure mentioned by MrKozlowski at no additional cost, because it is similar in size and shape to the round top structure that was advertised when I paid for a 42'X72' round top structureThis regret is mixed with deep diappointment over the unsafe yard and unfinished ground work incurred because of the misleading advertisement and the subsequent pick up and return option that is being proposed againNone the less, I will agree to the pick up and return option, if the actual costs as itemized in the attachments are specifically and clearly stated in the written response.
I am insisting on seeing the specific additional cost in writing for two reasons: Firstly, in a verbal offer from MrKozlowski, less than five percent of the full pick up and return incidental expense was offeredSeeing the additional cost in writing eliminates any confusion about the actual cost being reimbursed with a pick up and returnSecondly, specifying the amount also serves to protect ***'s interests, because, it places a limit (of $3204.00) on the total additional cost outside of shippingWhile the vague phrase; "any additional costs", opens the door to claim other additional costSincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:
As l stated to Jon Kozlowski, the *** sales team leader on September 2015, I do not have the length in land space to accommodate a foot long structureAdditionally, although the square footage of the more narrow structure seems feasable, it is impossible for the foot wide structure to fit as many trees, because it won't achieve the tree placement configuration that a foot wide-round top structure will The more narrow foot wide structure simply will not accomodate as many trees as it cannot fit the same number of trees side by side, while allowing the appropriate spacing between trees for future branch growth, and for air as well as sun light requirementsThe commitment to purchase the foot wide-round top structure was made with a specific purpose in mindA great deal of time, money, and effort has been spent on planning and site preparation for the foot wide-round top structure as advertised on the *** website at the timeThe ***.com advertisement of a foot wide-round top structure within my budget is the basis for both the purchase and the effort spentThe second attempt to offer a more narrow product is therefore not appreciated, even though it has a round topThis second offer of an item that cannot meet my needs has taken additional time...time that is critical to tropical fruit trees, as the cold weather draws nearerIn addition to verbally informing Sales Team Leader Jon Kozlowski, that the land space is not available for a foot long structure, the attached file is email correspondence with MrKozlowski, showing that the longer, yet more narrow building was rejected a week before this second offer for a more narrow foot wide structureTo clarify, the foot wide stuctue will not meet my needs, nor will the gothic top stucture that was delivered I made no commitment with *** for a foot wide structure, nor for the gothic top structure that is both functionally and aesthetically inadequateAgain, I am open to an exchange for your foot wide structure that truly has a round top as describe by MrKozlowskiThis item is similar in size and shape to the one that was advertised on the *** website when I committed to purchase and subsequently make costly site preparations that have rendered the area unsafe with dropoffs in the ground, when work was abruptly halted at the discovery of the incorrect item deliveryThe unsafe conditions will require sustantial additional cost to reverse, and will not amount to the benefit of ***'s legal requirments in online advertising commitments as defined by the Federal Trade CommissionThe foot wide structure describe by MrKozlowski, with the truly rounded top will meet my needs and is similar in size and shape to the one I committed toHowever, the additional cost of some $that was quoted for it is an unfair burden for me to bear, after the misleading advertising on the *** website caused the costly consequences sited in this complaintPlease promptly provide me with a kit for a structure that is similar in size and shape to the round top structure that was advertised when I purchased the round top foot by foot kit, at the original cost
Sincerely,
M(Nica) Mcneil

I am rejecting this response because:
Unfortunately, I do not have the budget to accommodate the shipping cost of the flatbed truck plus that higher cost item I do thank you for the effort in the discountAnd I hope you had a blessed ChristmasIn the spirit of reciprocal cooperation, I will consider the ftwide round top cold frame (item number 105019) if there is any possibility of increasing the height, perhaps with the use of cut pipes (item number 2375S124), and additional purlins.
Please direct me to the appropriate *** party that I may contact to inquire about a pony wall or other methods for safely increasing the height of the ftwide cold frame The ftwide-series item is just too narrow to replace the ftwide intended itemBut the ftwide cold frame just might work, if I can get a peak height of between and feet to compensate for what I will lose in the width

I have reviewed your rejection and would be willing to make you a final offer of a credit of $12,500. I hope that you will accept so that I can get this resolved for youBest regards,

We purchased a [redacted] 45' x 100' barn from Clearspan and hired them to construct the barn. It was supposed to be constructed Nov 11, 2015. First they forgot to order the main support posts. When they came to construct the barn in late Dec. the posts still weren't here. When they finally got the posts installed in late December they were neither plumb nor in alignment. Then they had the wrong cover--one with a hole all the way down the middle! The rain and snow would fall right where the bedding would be. Instead of having a barn to use for the winter we were having concrete poured in January. When they finally came in March to replace the cover, they forgot to have the cover here when they arrived! Finally in April we were able to put cattle in the barn. Clearspan is the most uncoordinated company with the most inferior construction we've ever seen. Their structures may be okay but get a local contractor to do any construction.

I bought a 60 ft greenhouse from farmtek about a month ago. The customer service was alright, she was nice and everything, but it seems like they don't really care about you or their business with you. One day after my order, I called back and ordered a part that I forgot, only to realize they can't consolidate the shipping because they're two separate orders. So I paid 40 dollars shipping twice even though neither item was even close to being shipped out.
Next, here I am, one month into waiting patiently for my greenhouse, and they come by to drop it off, and don't even knock on my door or anything. They just left me a note saying they tried to deliver. I came outside 5 minutes later to find the note on my car with the time they tried to deliver written on it.
So, whatever, delivery drivers can be complacent and don't directly reflect farmtek, but the lady from the delivery company calls me today to let me know they won't be able to deliver for another 2-3 days AND that farmtek sent a half ton skid on a flatbed instead of a liftgate truck. So I could not even have received it yesterday anyway because, like most humans, I don't own a personal forklift.
SO, it turns out that the "good" customer service I received was really just someone trying to make a sale and get off the phone as quickly as possible after receiving my credit card info.
My advice, if you order from farmtek, do all of your research first because they don't seem to care about how much money and time you waste trying to buy from them.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Thank you for contacting me regarding the issue.  I am sorry to hear that there was frustration with the order and installation. Due to the issues that arose on the order and installation, we are willing to offer a credit of $10,000 as compensation.  Please review this offer and let me...

know if I can proceed with the credit.Best regards,

[redacted],
I will have Jon Kozlowski follow up with you regarding the 38'W cold frame.  He can speak with you regarding the size and height requirements to create a special request structure that may fit your needs.  I will have him follow up with you by the end of the week to discuss this further.  Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Best regards,
Martina B[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]1
I am rejecting this response because:I am respecrfully requesting that you cover the cost of shipping and handling for the new 65x40 structure, in conjuction with the free pickup of the item that is now at my location.  I am also requesting clarification that the full cost of the replacement item is $11,000.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

[redacted],
I am writing in response of your rejection.  I am willing to offer you a new 65x40 HD white Clearspan building (Item #[redacted] for a price of $11,000.  This is the frame and cover and does not include end walls.  I would be willing to discount your s/h cost by $1,000.85 as that was the original discount applied to your first order.  You would be responsible for the remaining s/h cost as this will need to ship by flatbed due to the size and weight of the structure.
I will pick up your existing structure and pay for the return s/h and then credit you in full (merchandise and s/h) upon return which comes to $7,200.48.
Best regards,
Martina B[redacted]

I apologize for the misunderstanding during the purchase of the 42'W S500 greenhouse.  The 42'W S500 is the only model in that line that comes with a gothic frame due to the width of the structure.  For stability and...

strength of the structure, the building was designed with that feature.  Unfortunatly, we are unable to modify that exact structure to accommadate a round roof.  Now, since you purchased a 42'W x 72'L structure, you need approximately 3024 sq. ft. so I am willing to send you a 35'W x 96'L structure (3360 sq. ft.) for the same price.  The 35'W model does have the round top that you were originally looking for and is what was showcased in the picture.  Please let me know if this size woudl work for you.  If it does, I would be willing to send this unit out to you with free shipping for the issue and inconvenience that occurred.
Best regards,Martina B[redacted]

I am very sorry for the lack of response from the cusotmer service representative.  We take every complaint very seriously and want our customers to be satisfied with the product.  In reviewing the pictures, we typically do not see this type of issue but you should have a product that...

holds up and therefore I would be happy to replace the end panel at no charge. If this is satisfactory, I will send the replacement cover in 5-7 days.
Best regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]1
I am rejecting this response because: s te prep, (which was done with the advertised product in mind) is not being covered, even though the advertised product was not actually delivered. Since we are at an impass, I am proposing an alternate solution.
I have be looking around the [redacted] website and I believe the [redacted] Freestanding Building - 65'W x 40'L White may meet my need. It has a smaller footprint, but the height and round top seems suitable. It is however more expensive. In light of the disadvantages that I've experienced with the initial order, What is the best price that you can offer on the freestanding 65'x40' structure with the round top?
Sincerely,
[redacted]

rating to see if the offer in the promotion can be extended or if the company can make an alternate offer that will work for both parties. All of the reasons given to the customer were correct as to why the promotional offer was not extended to them. New businesses are increasingly hard to finance as their success rate is lower and increases the risk to the lending party. At the time, Engineering Services was willing to offer 20% down with 3 years to pay and no interest or with 30% down, 5 years to pay back and no interest. Engineering Services was not willing to offer the payment deferred due to the new business and the risk of it not being viable in 1 year.
Engineering Services is sorry about the misunderstanding but restrictions apply does not have anything to do with climate, location, etc. Restrictions refer to the credit information that can be processed to determine the risk involved to Engineering Services and Products, Company. In response to the rejection to provide M. [redacted] the 35x96 S500 structure the only other solution that I can provide is to pick up the 42x72 S500 structure and credit the order in full.  We will also take care of any additional costs occurred due to the pick up and return of the structure.  We are very sorry for the misunderstanding during the order process and never intended to mislead the [redacted].  If we had a 42x72 S500 structure with a round top, we would definitely provide that but unfortunately the design of that width of structure and pipe size has to be gothic to maintain the integrity and strength.
Please let me know how you would like to move forward and I will make sure this gets arranged.
Best regards,
Martina B[redacted]

Review: On or around May 7, 2013, within 12 hours after placing an order with Grower's Supply, I realized the items I ordered from the catalog was not what I needed and emailed and called Grower's Supply to cancel my order. I was told it was already shipped. I told them I did not want the merchandise and spoke to someone in customer service who said they would intercept the order after a lot of arguing that I must accept a credit. The order was not intercepted as promised and delivered to my home. I returned the package immediately. I asked the company not to send me any more catalogs because I would not be ordering from them because I did not like the way customer service handled my complaint.I received a bill with a demand for payment within 20 days for $16.72 for shipping. I do not feel I have to pay for shipping if the order was cancelled immediately. This company is relentless in harassing me. Can you help me straighten this out.

Product_Or_Service: Garden Clips, Greenhouse Cover

Order_Number: XXXXXXX-XX

Desired Settlement: I want Grower's Supply to stop sending me bills and catalogs and mark the Invoice XXXXXXX-XX a zero balance. Thank you.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2013/06/19) */

I am sorry for the misunderstanding and the frustration that was caused due to a cancellation of an order. I have reviewed the account and see that on 6/11/13 a credit in the amount of $16.72 was applied for the remaining s/h cost. This brings the account balance to $0 (zero). If there is anything else that can be done, please let me know.

Review: I received a flyer from [redacted] a few weeks ago. It stated we could have an indoor riding arena build on our property for no money down, no interest for 7 years and no payments for 1 year. We have always wanted an indoor arena from [redacted] so we thought this is perfect. We contacted the sales department, they explained we need to fill out the application and then we could start the planning. We happily sent it back right away. the next day we received a phone call from the finance department requesting more information be sent in. I sent in the requested information the next day. A few days pass I receive an email from the sales department stating the terms would be 30% down, 5 year contract and payments starting next month. I requested an reason why the terms were offered and not the terms offered in the flyer from [redacted]. His response was we were a new business, our dept to income ratio was too high and we did not have enough stalls filled. I understand we are a new business, our dept ratio is not high currently and yes it would be once we had an arena, however once we had an arena we would be able to rent out more stalls to double almost triple our income. The information was taken from a business plan, a business plan is meant for projected growth. Projected growth if we have an arena built. The flyer states restrictions apply, in my understanding restrictions mean climate, location etc...We received a quote from the sales department and then after submitting out application received something completely different.Desired Settlement: We would like to see the flyer honored and the quote we received accepted.A [redacted] building built as quoted and the terms as advertised in the flyer I received.
