I am an owner of a twenty plus year shopI am ase certified to repair/ rebuild import enginesI had choosen to purchase a Nissan KA24de engine instead of rebuilding due to customer time demandsI installed engine for customer and he came back because he was losing coolant from the coolant surge tankWe diagnosed and found cylinder number four head gasket blownNote: when this engine was installedHad new radiator, hoses, thermostat, waterpump and heater core was flushedWhen coolant was installed per Nissan repair Manual loosen bleeder screw to remove any air out of cooling systemDid everything by the bookCalled engines USA to start a claimI started off with what was going onThe person immediately cut me offHe said there is no way that it was the engines faultThat they pressure test all there engines and the trucks cooling system failed and no way they were responsibleWow Some one year warranty!! My customer only put miles on the truck before he came backWhat a big waste of time and effortDo not purchase an engine from these guysI recommend dealing with your local *** auto or ***They stand behind there warranty and I have proof of that

I bought a [redacted] 4.0 liter engine from Engines USA back in September, 2015 mainly because of the warranty they had. After installing the engine and following the steps as per their website for engine break in, after about 1,000-1200 miles or so the engine was making noise. I called them and they told me to take it and get it verified that the engine itself is faulty and call them back. Well I took it to the [redacted] Dealership and they verified the engine was faulty and needed to be replaced. I called Engines USA back and told them what was said, and they told me to send them the engine and after they check it out, if they deem it's faulty, they would replace or repair it and send it back, but I'd have to pay for shipping both ways which is about $500. Now apparently I wasted my money with getting it checked out at the [redacted] dealership like they told me to do, now they want me to pay to ship it round trip from my home in North Carolina? I will never again purchase anything whatsoever from this company and I will tell all my soldiers who work with me to do the same. I'm both very disgusted and mad at this company and their ** warranty.
