In September of 2013, I engaged the English Law Firm to handle work for an estate. I received a letter on November 6, 2013 acknowledging that work was complete. I had paid the firm a $500 retainer. The last statement I received was dated 10/8/13 and showed a remaing balance of $183.03. I contacted the firm on 1/17/14 and was told by their bookkeeper he would look into the balance and get back to me. He never did. I contacted again on 2/17/14 and was given the same story. As of 3/31/14, I have not been contacted by the law firm, seen an updated statement nor received a refund check.
