Engman's Income Tax Services Reviews (9)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12715115, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me because it finally forced her to submit my return on 3/2/18, even though I paid for it to be filed on 2/2/I just wanted my return filed and lesson learned to go else where in the future

Ms***' returns have been efiled I told her that numerous timesI did not tell her that her return had earned income credit or child tax I stated that some of other returns are being held up being released to due to the child tax credit and earned income credit returns being reviewed once the
return is filed at the IRS its up to them to release the payment as they see fit not meI file they acceptI have done nothing but try to help Ms*** but every answer I give she basically dismisses and has spoke to me in an unprofessional manner turning to the internet and repeatedly posting google reviews after I had emailed her and my office staff spoke to her more than once on the telephone and told her that her return had been filedThen after her numerous calls and emails and review updates on google every couple of hours I sent her the IRS agency acceptance notice that she had requested and she still is saying that it's not filedI have provided her with all the documentation I can give her and she is just still refusingThe service she paid for was renderedI don't believe the way she is treating me or my office staff is very fair as we have tried to help her and she is just flat refusing and has a harassing demeanor towards her when she speaks to me or my staff which none of us appreciateAnything I give her she posts on the internet and basically calls me stupid which I believe is uncalled forI believe myself and my office staff have done the job above and beyond for her

I am rejecting this response because:On October 6th, we met to review our paperwork because we received the wrong copiesWe were supposed to return later that evening and receive confirmation of the corrected copies being submitted to both the IRS and state boardWhen we returned, we were told the tax preparer wasn't home and that she didn't leave anything for usWe never received a call back that dayThen our appointment for October 27th had to be rescheduled because of "issues" with the printerThis appointment was then rescheduled to November 3rd at 3pmI showed up min early and no one answered the doorI tried sending an e-mail to them and it was forwarded backI tried calling and no one responded until 3:when I had already left (at 3:20)No one came or went through the front door.I called and left a message on November 17th (after recieving this response) in an attempt to folland ensure my paperwork was sent through the mail (as previously arranged), but I have yet to receive any call backAs of today (November 22) I have yet to receive anything through the mail, nor does the IRS/state board have any record of the returns being filed by the tax preparerI was also never told that I would only receive what I paid for until I read this response, because up until October I have paid $per month as agreedMy ex-husband paid in full in June, and his taxes still have not been amended eitherHe has been to the same appointments as me and have included him in this response. At this point in time I think we have given this business the benefit of the doubt on several occasions and have not had a good response, nor have we received the services we have paid for even up until nowIt would probably be best if we received our money back and the original W-2s provided so that we may have our taxes filed elsewhere unless there is proof that the IRS or state board are processing our amended taxes for 2013-and current In good faith, we will continue to make our payments as originally discussed only if we are given this proof of service

We have filed the amendments and have made contact with the client to check the status of them at the IRSThe returns were filed

We show on our end that the amends were in fact mailed out to the IRS

I Have spoken to *** on many occasions and I actually set up with her that I could mail her all her paperwork that she has paid for up to dateThis was last weekShe still has a pending balance that has not been paid for some of the years of the taxes, and would like that paid by her as wellAll
of *** returns are completed and submitted and I have provided her copies of the returns, one of my assistants put them in the wrong order not on purposeUsually I have my clients pay up front for this service due to the fact they can take the returns themselves mail them and get a refund and I'm not paid for services I didI however gave *** not one a discount on the price but allowed her to set up payments which she has not finished makingI am all for us completing this process so we both are happy

Mrs*** *** brought us a tax return from another tax office to look over and see if any changes could be made to the returnHer return was amended in our office and sent to the IRS and franchise tax boardThe error of her taxes not matching up was from the original return prepared by
the other tax office not by usWhen *** told us about letters she received from the Franchise tax board our office kindly asked her to send them to us so we can review and see if we could help her with the issue*** failed to send in the correspondence multiple times when asked to do soOur office staff talked to her on many occasions and was never rude to her we tried to help her as best as we could with the information we hadShe repeatdley kept texting an employees personal phone number and was asked to call the office and she never would she kept texting the employee at all odd hoursShe demanded a refund before allowing the issue to be resolved by our officeI believe our office did what we were suppose to in this manner, and I did speak with her after the vacationIf you would like to speak with me regarding this issue further please let me know*** or by emailKindly,*** ***

I am rejecting this response because: I contacted IRS and informed my amendments were not filedI want a refund
