I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12715115, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me because it finally forced her to submit my return on 3/2/18, even though I paid for it to be filed on 2/2/18. I just wanted my return filed and lesson learned to go else where in the future.

of [redacted] returns are completed and submitted and I have provided her copies of the returns, one of my assistants put them in the wrong order not on purpose. Usually I have my clients pay up front for this service due to the fact they can take the returns themselves mail them and get a refund and I'm not paid for services I did. I however gave [redacted] not one a discount on the price but allowed her to set up payments which she has not finished making. I am all for us completing this process so we both are happy.
I am rejecting this response because:On October 6th, we met to review our paperwork because we received the wrong copies. We were supposed to return later that evening and receive confirmation of the corrected copies being submitted to both the IRS and state board. When we returned, we were told the tax preparer wasn't home and that she didn't leave anything for us. We never received a call back that day. Then our appointment for October 27th had to be rescheduled because of "issues" with the printer. This appointment was then rescheduled to November 3rd at 3pm. I showed up 10 min early and no one answered the door. I tried sending an e-mail to them and it was forwarded back. I tried calling and no one responded until 3:26 when I had already left (at 3:20). No one came or went through the front door.I called and left a message on November 17th (after recieving this response) in an attempt to follow-up and ensure my paperwork was sent through the mail (as previously arranged), but I have yet to receive any call back. As of today (November 22) I have yet to receive anything through the mail, nor does the IRS/state board have any record of the returns being filed by the tax preparer. I was also never told that I would only receive what I paid for until I read this response, because up until October I have paid $200 per month as agreed. My ex-husband paid in full in June, and his taxes still have not been amended either. He has been to the same appointments as me and have included him in this response.At this point in time I think we have given this business the benefit of the doubt on several occasions and have not had a good response, nor have we received the services we have paid for even up until now. It would probably be best if we received our money back and the original W-2s provided so that we may have our taxes filed elsewhere unless there is proof that the IRS or state board are processing our amended taxes for 2013-2015 and current 2016. In good faith, we will continue to make our payments as originally discussed only if we are given this proof of service.

We have filed the amendments and have made contact with the client to check the status of them at the IRS. The returns were filed.
