Harassment Called 100x to my personal phone number Police Report filed.

Enhanced Recovery Company Response • Sep 11, 2020

Thank you for the review. After researching the issue, it has been determined that ERC did not call Mr. M over 100 times. When we spoke to him, we were advised to stop calling. Upon being advised to stop calling, the phone number we spoke to him on was removed from our system. If Mr. M needs any additional assistance, he may contact our offices or visit our self-service website at https://ssp.ercbpo.com. ERC apologizes for any
inconvenience caused. Our company works diligently to treat all customers with the utmost professionalism and respect.

Deceptive , Harassing, Unearthing, Horrible ,
The company masks phone numbers to appear to be local business, in this case baltimore maryland. They are out of Jacksonville Florida, use scare tactics and rude behavior to solicit debt from someone with the same last name as me. I asked to be removed from the call list and they just call back masking their number from another part of the State. I have received over 79 calls in the past 20 days, all unwarranted.

Absolutely horrible! I just received a collection notice from a specrum bill from 2 1/2 years ago that I know for sure is paid and the account has been closed. Ive never gotten anything from spectrum about it. She continued trying to get me to pay or set up a payment plan until I said I wasnt going to pay anything until I could get through to charter. Charter has no collection account under me or anything past due. I wouldn't trust them, do your research before you pay them anything.

I was told that if I paid my account in full, that it would be removed. What would be the point of paying an account if fill and the charge remained on the account for seven years? That defeats the purpose of paying it in full. I didn't have any problems getting the negative accounts from my report except this one. So regardless, whether you pay or not, their account will remain on your account for seven years. That's insane!! And unethical.

ERC sending me debt information on my father? Absolutely unacceptable.

THIS IS FRAUD!!! This company states I owe $320 to AT&T and now have filed a collections. I have an account with AT&T and I am in GREAT standings with them. I DO NOT owe any money to AT&T.
DO NO Pay this company.

I just called ERC to resolve an AT&T bill found on my credit report. The woman asked for my social security number, I gave it to her, and immediately regretted it. She was supposed to transfer me to an automated system so I could make my payment, but hung up on me instead. I called back and got a different person, who had no record of my phone call, and only asked for the last 4 digits of the social. I’m so afraid that person will steal my credit and I have no way of finding out who she is. Why did she need my social? I feel so stupid for giving it to her. Shady shady business.

ABOSULTELY THE WORSE EXPERIENCE! I am looking to get a loan and checked my credit score online. There was a balance from sprint and showed it was sent to a collection company ERC so I called the number on the experian website associated with Enhanced Recovery Collection. When I called it said the number has not set up a voicemail yet which was rather odd. I researched them online and shoulded they had a 1 rating on Revdex.com and very bad reviews. I figured why would a compny as big as Sprint be associated with a company like that? It shows a lack on interest for past or present members.
So not being able to get through to the number associated with my collection agency I called sprint After 2 hours of dealing with Sprint I was trasnferred a few times and sent back to calling the collection agency and I got a working number.
I used to manage hotels but due to the covid19 situation I was let go. In the process I am trying to increase my credit score to get a loan to survive. My attorney wanted me to ask it I could get half off and they offered to do so. I gave them my card info, new they were recording because they let me know about 8times, and wanted me to say that if I relocate, move, etc that I will call to let them know. I was so confused as to why I would have to answer yes to that if I am paying off the settlement amount right then. Why would we need to contact each other. I also let them know I was recording the call as well. I would of rated them better but for the fact that they wanted to be able to track me down after paying off the account was rather shady.

These ss re-posted and old debt on my credit score twice dropping my score 15 points each time. What they do is criminal this is a sad company and I can only hope they go bankrupt. They did this s*** right in the middle of this pandemic no thought what so ever of their actions.

I received a collections letter for one of my sons' phone bills in February. It had since gotten filed away with some other paperwork and I found it in May. I called ERC because the letter was an offer to settle the account for less than the original balance. It took a couple of tries, but I finally got through to a customer service representative Kena B who was an absolute delight to speak with. She was very courteous and thorough throughout the entire call. She checked to ensure the settlement offer was still valid, which it was, and assured me that ERC updates accounts with all three credit bureaus on a weekly basis. The entire process took three to five minutes and my account was settled for almost half of the original amount. Many thanks to ERC and Kena for helping me to get my credit score back on the right track!

In 2017, a collection was added to my account from *** The only reference number I have is XXXXX3790
2164XXXXX ,from my credit, I have never received a letter or call. I have attempted to dispute several times because I have no knowledge of this debt. I was not given notice that the collection was being added to my credit reports, which is a FDCPA violation. I am requesting the following information: 1. Full original Account Number 2. Date original Account was opened 3. Any written agreements between myself and the original creditor stating this debt is owed 4. Full account summary and itemized calculation of alleged debt 5. Date of the first delinquency 6. Dates and times of any phone calls made and to what number in attempt to contact me concerning the alleged debt before it was reported to an agency, and so proving that these calls were made in the times governed by FDCPA law. I also was not given the 30 day period to respond before the collection was added, which is a right guaranteed to me by law. If the above mentioned information cannot be verified, your collection must be deleted from all 3 credit reporting agencies. Thank you

I called to find out why they put a collection on my credit report. They made it very difficult to communicate with them. Refused to allow me to speak and said it was they were required to do so. I don't think they care how they talk to people. AT&T should be ashamed to be associated with them. If you need to call, they will not make it easy for you to obtain information.

Just received a bill from ERC/what a crock. They are claiming I owe a balance of $244.52 to Time Warner Cable and will settle that debt for $171.16. I haven't had any cable since 2004 and at that time it was Comcast which was paid in full when I disconnected that service. I will be writing these fools a letter (Certified) that they can forget getting any money from me and I'd better not hear from them ever again. How can they get away with this? I will be monitoring my credit report and dispute anything they may place on it.

Got a collections notice from them saying I owe at&t $800+, I haven't had an account with them in over ten years. I called at&t and no record of me owing money. I called ERC to dispute this and they hang up on me every time once I say why I'm calling. Horrible experience, hopefully I can get this resolved before they try and affect my credit.

Went round and round with some guy named Jonathan Billings..he informed me that I should be able to make my payment because " you have steady income "..
He basically assumed ( as he stated ) that it was time to make good on my debt because I had a job.. I offered to settle...It wasn't good enough for Jonathan Billings..he basically degraded me for about 25 straight minutes.

Dont know who they are or what they want I have recived multiple calls a day from robo callers and when its not a robo call I answer and they hang up ERC has reported a derogatory mark on my credit and cant tell me what it is for or why it was reported just that I am supposed to pay a 100 dollars or so for something I dont even know what its for, feels like im being shook down for getting better credit

Scam no debt ever. Call me every day never leave a message

If only I could leave 0 stars! I got a collection letter from ERC stating I owed *** $400+ but they can "offer a one time discount by receiving a payment of $321 immediately".
I do not know ***, have no outstanding bills whatsoever, etc.
My lawyer sends them a letter pointing out first, that the letter was sent to me with my name misspelled!
Twelve days later I receive a letter from *** (name again misspelled), telling me they have received my fraud notification from ERC. Mind you, this letter came today and my letter went out to ERC only yesterday. Hmmm???
Anyway, *** tells me to download their form, fill it out, provide a copy of the police report, etc. etc. and included is a request for my Social Security Number. Hmmm???
How wonderful! Trying to not only get money "immediately" (for the discounted collection) for something I do not owe is horrible. Then, it's followed up with a means for them to also get my SSN.
Something needs to be done to shut this scam down!

All of a sudden two bogus reports show up on my credit report. One from *** and one from ***. I called both *** & *** and I don't owe them any money and they can't even find any old accounts that may have been opened up. Both of these reports showed up on my account a couple weeks from each other. Now I'm in the process of buying a home and I'm trying to deal with bogus reports on my credit. You're awesome ERC!!! Thanks for being dishonest and trying to get money from people who don't even owe it!!!

NON-STOP CALLS. This company calls me multiple times each day from a non-identifiable local area number. When I have answered, they want to record the conversation without providing information. I've tried to block their number but they just call from a different one the next time. Relentless.
