Enrichment Workshop for Children, Incorporated

Hello,
My daughter is a student with the XXXX XXXX Elementary school and also attends the BASE (before and after school) program also known as “The Enrichment Workshop” in Bensalem which I pay for
I notified the Executive Director of the Enrichment Workshop recently that I had a family emergency and need to cancel ***'s camp (which is already completely paid for $2,+ registration fees)Despite the fact that camp has not yet even started, I was denied the refundThe denial was based off of the company’s inability to sign up more children
The contract/ agreement states that refunds can be done if there are enough kids signed upSo refunds CAN be done! I have no idea why my ability to be approved for a refund due to a family emergency would be based off of their companies ability to promote their own program
So essentially I have to send my daughter to this program, that has not started yet, or just lose all of my money because their program is not full?

there are no refunds, or reductions in camp fees after April 30, 2016.Our camp was due to start on June 14, 2016. [redacted] asked for her money back on June 8, 2016, one week before camp was due to start. I explained to [redacted] that at this late date it would be very difficult to find a replacement for her daughter in our camp.Our business has financial agreements in place to remain a viable business. I explained this to [redacted] and that she signed the agreement stating there are no refunds after April 30th.  I considered her family situation and decided to give [redacted] her money back.I have included the signed financial agreement from [redacted] for you review.I hope this clears the complaint.
