All of our fares are flat rates to and from anywhere in NYC and beyond, the only vehicles in NYC that have meters inside their vehicles are yellow and green taxis. TLC allows us to charge whatever the company thinks is reasonable and competitive in our area. Are regular flat rate from anywhere in Astoria to LGA is $22 and we give a cash discounted rate of $18. Review: Hello. I ordered a cab from my home to laguardia airport.

it is exactly 2 miles to the airport. There was no traffic. No detours. Total ride was less than 4 minutes. Total bill 22$

18$ to go 2 miles. And a $4 charge for using a debit card .

There is no meter. No explanation of charges.

When I first tried to pay my driver. He said my company does not accepts cards. You need to go to an atm. I almost missed my flight. After telling him we are at an airport I don't have time he finally pulled out the debit card machine. Only after I told him I canot pay cash.

This is wrong. I have taken a limo 45 miles to the airport for 80$. How is a local cab company allowed to charge you any rate per mile. They do not have a meter. They also said astoria. ( where I left from) is 4.9 miles to airport. Their buisness is located in astoria, exact distance 2.1 miles they know this.

They are robbing people.

the driver today said "I am holding your card to make sure you pay" . That was my only card. So it was difficult to explain to him that I need my card to get money.Desired Settlement: I would like this companies books opened. They force our town which has a lack of taxi companies to pay any price they choose. No GPS showing miles. No explanation of services. No price was told to me before I got in the cab, and 4$ charged for using a debit card.

I would like to understand the 4$ debit card charge, which is not stated any where. Why they don't need or use meters. Don't display mileage. Do not tell you prices until you are there. And please justify 9$ a mile.
