careless staff
I have been waiting 2 wks for the office to fax new orders to the right providers for my mother and still waiting nothing yet. I kept calling the office which takes for ever to get someone on the phone and when I do they'll tell me someone will call me back and they never do. Costumer service used to be good not anymore. Is sad bc the Dr is amazing but his staff is making ENT associates to look carless and unprofessional. They don't give me no other choice of report this office to the right agency.

We continue to be disheartened that we have not been able to successfully resolve this complaint with the patientWe follow all the appropriate billing and insurance processing guidelines and do our best to explain and educate patients so that they have a good understanding of not only the care they receive, but also how that care is billed and then subsequently processed by their insurance company We also work with patients to develop affordable payment plansThis patient was no exception

Good Afternoon,I am extremely disappointed with their response and am even more concerned with their narrative.  ENT Associates never once offered any kind of financial settlement or explanation for sidestepping my Insurance Company and adding charges to my bill for services that were not necessary or even approved by my Insurance. Their predatory billing practices and fees are denied by Insurance Companies because they are not services that should be administered in violation of my patient bill of rights. I offered to pay my $30 office co-pay and they refused to accept the payment. In fact, they have added more than $800 to my bill in fees and costs and are having my wages garnished from my employer. Their [redacted]) is sticking to the narrative that they wanted to make payment arrangements. Why would I make payment arrangements with this business when they dishonestly added all of these fees to my bill because they do not want to accept insurance payments that are reduced due to group in network discounts? Very deceptive business. My hope is that they do not continue to prey on patients who need medical services. Thank you.

The patient was told by his primary care provider that our office visit would only cost him his $30 co-pay. Unfortunately, his primary care provider didn’t have accurate knowledge of the patient’s insurance plan.We saw the patient and billed the patient’s insurance plan accurately for the services...

provided and they in turn processed the claim and per his insurance plan he had an amount due.We have tried to discuss this with the patient and explain how billing and insurance processing works, such that he has a better understanding. We totally understand that medical billing and insurance processing is complicated and we spend a great deal of time helping our patients better understand. His insurance company and plan determines what amount he is responsible for with regards to the services provided. We do not. We also offer a variety of payment options to help, as we realize health care costs are expensive.  We are sorry he feels as he does, and we have had direct contact with the patient regarding this matter already. We do not need any further resolution services as it has already been handled legally. Thank you. Jen
