Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me The owner, Andrew R***, was absolutely the best person I've ever met in the construction business Although some of his employees didn't respond to me and did not take care of his business, he absolutely diffused the situation and gave me every concession I wanted (in writing); even to the point of cutting into his profit margin to satisfy my and take care of me Andy absolutely and utterly turned this around degrees and bent over backwards to meet my needs and expectations So much so, that he and his company have pretty much completed the work in two weeks instead of one month that was plannedIf a company ever turned a customer and made them an supporter instead of a opponent; Enterprise Contracting did it! Andrew R [redacted] cares about his business and will make it right He's an honest man even if some of his employees aren't as dedicated to serving his customers best interest I'll definitely have Enterprise Contracting back for work, but only with Andy's oversight Regards, [redacted] ***

MrAndrew R***, President Enterprise Contracting, Inc13944-G Willard Road Chantilly, Virginia Re: R [redacted] Kitchen Dear MrR***: As a courtesy we are sharing with you a letter we have prepared to forward to various consumer sites as well as the Fairfax Office of Consumer Affairs and the Revdex.com While we are saddened by its contents we feel very strongly that this experience needs to be shared [redacted] “Everyone has heard at least one disaster story about how remodeling projects dragged on for months and months past the promised completion date This will never happen when you hire us to work on your home.” Enterprise Contracting Our Guarantee In the beginning, the Enterprise s*sman and staff were very helpful and friendly We entered into a contract on February 22, with a start date of April 4, and a completion date of May 16, Despite what the contract stated, work was not actually started until the first week in May, Then the problems and disasters came at us The actual completion date was November 18, with final inspection Almost months late! Please understand that at every stage, whenever a check was due to Enterprise … it was deliveredWe were told where to go to make selections on tile, granite, etc We went right to these places and made our selections, only in at least one instance to be blown away by the cost Kitchen wall tile and backsplash illustrates the situation best The price for the tile and installation came in far too highWe back did the numbers with the specifications, and could make no sense of this Finally it was determined that the Enterprise person doing the pricing had included tiling a wall that was actually scheduled to be removed This was just a hint of what was to comeWell after the original start date and without any notice, Enterprise employees or contractors arrived at our house and began to tear the kitchen out We scrambled to get things out of the kitchen as fast as we could, and, in the process, lost the location of many items … and that situation prevails to the presentThen, after they had demolished our kitchen, they left and were not seen again for several weeksPrior to entering into the agreement, Enterprise sent someone to inspect and determine if there were any load bearing walls involved They concluded no Load bearing walls take special treatment, including installation of additional beams So, we were quite relieved, at least until Enterprise began to remove the walls You guessed it … both walls were load bearing This cost several thousand additional dollarsWe had contracted for floors that matched the existing hardwood in the adjacent dining room The flooring contractor came in, said he could not match it but would get close It seems the existing hardwood flooring in the dining room was white oak, so, naturally the contractor installed red oak in the kitchen, not even trying to match Solution? We were told that for another $1,the dining room floor could be redone to match the kitchen! Finally, after intervention by the owner of Enterprise, new floor people came and did their best to match the flooring … removing the new red oak flooring, apparently, was not in the cards Because of the difference in the woods, the flooring does not match, but it is much closerPrior to the original start date, we purchased our appliances; the refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and hood, dishwasher, disposal, and the washer and dryer We immediately provided Enterprise the specifications for each In the end, the shelf for the microwave was too small, and did not provide ventilation; the refrigerator has absolutely no space on either side allowing for pulling out for repairs; and the stove hood was the wrong type You would have thought in the months they had to look over this information, they would have known of these problems HHGREGG would not take back the microwave or the hood as it had been well over five months, so we had to go back and repurchase both the microwave and stove hood We still have the originally purchased microwave and stove hoodOur s*sman told us Enterprise would install all the appliances We purchased our appliances at the HHGREGG President’s s [redacted] and saved quite a bit of money When the time came to install we were told that Enterprise would charge us $1,to install, excluding the stove hood and disposal which they would kindly install We went back to HHGREGG and got installation for $Electricity was a nightmare The first electrical contractor left the job and never returned It took Enterprise three weeks to get a new contractor The second contractor stated that he had to redo all of the previous contractor’s work and this caused further delays, e.g., the pendant lights blocked cabinet doors and were entirely too low They had to be moved twiceWe had a corner cabinet installed with a glass door Looked good, except for one small problem, the door could not be opened completely because it was blocked by the hood So, to correct it they moved the door [redacted] and placed the hinges on the right, not the left Of course, this left the door with an ugly filled in hole where the door [redacted] had originally been locatedIt took Enterprise four weeks to replace the doorNext there was the stove hood installation that had to be redone because the hole in the ceiling was way out of center with the stove top Also, in order to accommodate the new stove hood, another hole leading to the outside for exhaust, had to be done Their repair of this was a hard plastic cover over the removed bricksAnd, then, there was the interminable waiting Time after time we wasted days waiting for workmen to show up … only to be told when we inquired that they got busy elsewhere No phone calls or emailsPerhaps the greatest weakness of Enterprise is in the area of communication with the client and apparently the subcontractors Having your kitchen demolished without notice, then at almost every step finding yet another delay, without notice became extremely frustratingSo, rather than an upbeat story of on time and quality work, we must relate another disaster story about interminable delays coupled with horrible communication Needless to say, we have struck Enterprise Contracting from our list of reliable, quality contractorsCarol and Gary R [redacted] [redacted] V [redacted] Road Oakton, Virginia [redacted] [email protected] December 29,

We called for a dishwasher service callOur dishwasher overheated so much it cooked milk on the counter over itThe technician came out, told me it was a fire hazard and to keep it turned off by the breakerI did that and was unable to use itHe looked at the dishwasher for less than minutesHe then wrote the report that nothing was wrong with the dishwasher although he told me he was ordering new pets for itThey clearly just wanted the warranty money for a minute call and didn't want to do the workAs this was a fire hazard to my family, I am shocked that a man or company would treat us this way
