there was no problem taking care of the problems that were wrong with my vehicle.

I bought my 2011 GMC Acadia and had gotten the Drive for life Coverage. The coverage per their website covers all internally lubricated parts for the engine and transmission. See below.
Engine
Cylinder Block
Cylinder Head
All Internally Lubricated Parts
Turbocharger
Supercharger
Harmonic Balancer
Timing Gear
Chain and Belt
Timing Cover
Intake and Exhaust Manifolds
Valve Covers
Oil Pan
Engine Mounts

Transmission
Transmission Case
All Internally Lubricated Parts
Torque Converter
Flywheel/Flex Plate
Vacuum Modulator
Transmission Mounts

For my vehicle: I have Oil contamination in Cylinder #1 which could cause complete engine failure if not taken care by replacing the valve covers and gaskets which those 2 are the root cause of the oil contamination in the cylinder. The Valve covers gasket which the last time I checked you cant replace the covers without a gasket. So a $1200 repair I am stuck with. If this was not found or corrected the cylinder would have failed and they would be replacing the engine.

Prior to the service taking place I called 3 times and so had the shop stated the service would be covered. The shop called and started the claim and they reverted back and said the service wont be covered. WHY after you had stated it would!!!!

You rank and pride your services on how you help the consumer but when the consumer needs to use the service the dealer or the consumer pays for out of pocket you close the doors on them. Even when a certified service tech called and explains the repair your internal adjusters seem to not have any training or very little experiences with automotive repair or know what they are asking or doing for automotive services.

I received a call from Customer Service rep from this company. They knew the status of my current warranty and were looking for me to extend the warranty. I told them up front that I was ok with the call and was just researching, Service rep sent me to approval department who asked 5 questions about condition of the car. My car has a sole owner and is in perfect condition, I only was interested in quotes. The Service reps told me that this was the only opportunity to get these "amazing price" and the only time the "offer" was available. I could not call back to get the same service. The Service Rep provided prices and after doing calculations, and did research online and decided not to take the offer. The service rep became very defensive questioning "my decision making" and was short of swearing at me for "wasting his time". I knew right there that my decision to not spend 2900 bucks for a service was not for me. Regardless of the product that you are selling, the attitude of the service rep is why I am writing this note to raise awareness and to ensure that any business is working for us "the consumer". So, when you contact us you are using "our time" to try to sell "your product".

After reading the review from Leo V. I too wanted to make the company aware of it's practices towards gaining new customers. I initially received a phone call from a very sweet rep who wanted to speak to me about the coverage running out on my vehicle and just wanted to get my a quote to know what my options were, I was on my way to work so we scheduled a call back the next day. The next day she was 30 mins late in the time we had discussed, I then was passed of to a supervisor who was to work up my 'quote' and once she was finished I was sent to yet another supervisor to look up discounts. Once I was with the last supervisor he worked up the final quote and then started pushing for a payment today. I explained all I was looking for was a quote so I could do some research on my own and find the best policy for myself this representative started in on questioning my ability to make decisions regarding my vehicle and policy, and started bullying with scare tactics such as, "Well not to offend you, but this is something to be taken seriously. This is your way to get to work. you have to protect your vehicle and these types of expenses need to be covered." All of this continued even after telling him I could afford any of the coverage right this very moment. When I explained that I would like to contact them once I did my own research he completely wrote me off and stopped giving me any helpful information; contact info, how long I had to make a decision.

After ending the phone call I researched the company and found more negative comments similar to mine. And called the dealership where I purchased my vehicle and they had no dealings with the company.
