This guest's statement was falseThe guest came to the property and asked for a key to a roomOur front desk agent (*** ***) gave the guest a key to go to the second floor to check a roomAfter about minutes *** went to check on the guest, because he had not come to the front desk
The camera's show *** meeting the guest, where he explained he didn't want the room and he was leaving*** explained there was a strict no cancellation period hour prior to arrival during South by South WestThe guest said he did not care and he was leaving and he didn't want the room*** then sold the room to someone else, as we were booked fullyThe guest's wife showed up later and asked to go ahead and get the key*** explained the room had already been soldI was explained the situation the following Monday and I went ahead and allowed a full refund, since we were able to sell the room anyways
