Spoke with Joe of business and he stated that they have refunded the consumer several weeks ago, but they sent it to his rental property instead of his home and his tenant did not give it to him until recently

We needed our furnace repaired today We looked up furnace repairs in the yellow pages of the phone book My husband listens to am radio and has heard the commercials for Remier Heating & Air Conditioning often so we decided to call We had a feeling we called the right place when my husband was talking to the receptionist on the phone, and she said our serviceman is walking out the door as we speak! Wow! That made us feel confident that we perhaps we did make a good decision to call Remier The serviceman, who showed up shortly after our initial phone call, was knowledgeable & thorough as he checked the furnace and explained his findings as he inspected the unit He also explained the membership advantages and gave both prices: with or without the annual membership offer [redacted] fixed the initial problem and because he needed to order partsHe told us I he will contact us when the parts come in and schedule a date & time to return We were happy with ***'s knowledge & professionalism to assess and repair our furnaceWe would like to request that he complete the job started as we feel comfortable to allow him to come back to our home and complete the repairs neededSo far so good! This company is not to be trusted because it uses deceptive sales techniques to generate new business for their company A few years ago we this company had a promo CO furnace check for a low price We contacted the company to have them check our furnace heat exchanger for possible CO leakage The tech showed up and did the test We were informed that we had a small CO leak We have (5) children and at that time we had CO detectors installed in our home for our protection The detectors we all relatively new and not one of them detected CO and did not sound any alarms The Reimer tech informed us after he discovered the leak that he would have to disconnect our furnace gas supply pipe to disable the furnace for our safety due to a law We were shocked to learn this was being done with NO prior notice by the company or the tech before the test was started So, we were left with no furnace to heat our home with (5) children in the middle of winter with freezing temperatures outside What are we suppose to do on a no notice removal of our furnace to heat our home We are forced into purchasing a new furnace from Riemer Heating of course! We were livid at the company Fortunately, we were able to purchase a new furnace from a reputable HVAC contractor So, buyer BEWARE with this contractor, I would definitely stay away from this company for any HVAC work

In I purchased a Carrier gas furnace and AC unit from ReimerAt the same time I also purchased a service club membershipFor years Reimer performed the maintenance on these unitsLast week I woke up to a cold house because the furnace was not workingNaturally I called Reimer to come out and trouble shoot itThat's when the repair person Lou had bad news for meHe told me that the secondary heat exchanger was cloggedHe said that although it could be replaced for just under $that his recommendation was to purchase a new furnaceHe told me he would give me membership pricingHe gave me a price of $for a 95% efficiency model and $for a 97% modelI asked him if he had any information he could leave me so that I could look it over but he said that he didn'tThat evening I began to search on the Internet for different optionsI happened to come across this article that said Carrier had, as part of a class action law suit, extended the warranty parts and labor to years on this particular furnace and several others for the secondary heat exchangerThe next day I called Lou and inquired about itHe told me that Carrier would only warranty the part and not the laborI explained that from what I read on the Internet that it appeared that Carrier was paying for the labor alsoLou than told me that Carrier could come put the part in themselvesHe ended the conversation telling me that he would have his general manager call me on MondayI waited for a call on Monday but it never cameTuesday morning I called Reimer and asked for the general manager and they informed me that he was on vacationI explained the situation to the women on the phone and that we had no heat for days and she told me that I will need to talk to the service manager KevinShe put me on hold to see if he was availableWhen she returned, she told me that he was working on my issue but was with another customer and that he would call me backI waited about hours but still did not get a call backI called back and insisted on talking to the service managerFinally the service manager answered the phoneHe told me that he was reading about the class action law suit on the Internet and that it was not very clearI asked him if it would make more sense to call Carrier directly and get the informationHe told me he did but they really didn't know and they were suppose to call him backI told him that I had called Carrier the day before and within minutes they gave me all the informationHe told me that he would call me back when he heard from themAbout minutes later he called backHe told me that Carrier would pay some of the labor to put the part in but because I am such a good customer that he would only charge me $The other option was that Carrier would give a $credit towards a new Carrier unitI told him that I would need to think about itThen I called a Carrier dealer and they told me that Carrier will pay for the parts and labor for the secondary heat exchanger or they will give a credit of up to $on a new Carrier furnaceHe gave me a price of $for a 98.5% efficient furnaceThis was without being a club member and without the credit being deductedI had another furnace company replace the part under warrantyThere was no charge for the part or the labor to put it inLike I stated previously I dealt with Riemer for about yearsThe first issue that I needed help with they tried to overcharge meI hope this review helps someone else make a good decision
