Again, the prerequisites for the course, as well as the cancellation/refund policy is posted on the website You may not approve where it is posted, and that's OKBut the fact is, it is posted for all to seeI will have no further comments on this matter

On March 9th, this individual registered (signed up) online for a ACLS Provider 2-Day Certification course here at the Enterprise Training Center. He paid the course fee ($240.00) and also paid $for the two (2) required textbooks. The next morning, his registration was processed,
and the course information packet and two textbooks were packaged and shipped via USPSLater that day, he notified me by email that he wished to cancel his registrationI agreed to refund his course fee, less the $cancellation fee per our policyAdditionally, I agreed to refund an additional $for the textbooks, if they were returned to me in new, unopened condition. I agreed to do this even though we have a "All textbook sales are final" policyBoth the cancellation and textbook sales policies are clearly stated in the course description and Prerequisites area of the course page that the individual registered for. I have cut and pasted this information here just as it appears on the course page. You can see it yourself at www.enterprisetrainingcenter.com On March 12th, a refund in the amount of $($less $25.00) was issued to his credit card and a receipt reflecting this refund was mailed to the individualAs of this writing, the textbooks have not yet been returned

I am rejecting this response because:
This response is true but the complaint is over the $cancellation fee since the reason I needed to cancel the class was because I have BLS through a provider he does not accept but this information is not under the course description or prerequisitesIf it had been in the proper place I would not have signed up for the class which is why the full amount should be refunded including the cancellation fee

Again, the prerequisites for the course, as well as the cancellation/refund policy is posted on the website.  You may not approve where it is posted, and that's OK. But the fact is, it is posted for all to see. I will have no further comments on this matter.

Review: After signing up for an ACLS class I was informed by a friend that a BLS was needed through AHA. I looked at the description of the class as well as the prerequisites and it did not specify it needed to be through AHA. I called right after I found out the information about 24hrs after registering and paying for the course. The next day I had no response so I emailed and got the response that AHA BLS was needed. I then informed him this information was not under the class. He informed me it was in a different place under updates. I suggested he change his website to avoid this confusion for others and asked for a full refund he said he was charging a $25 cancellation fee which is unfair since the information is not provided under the prerequisites or description of the course.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund. I do not believe a $25 cancellation fee is fair since the information was not provided under the description and prerequisites of the course. I also would like the website changed for the benefit of others so the advertising is correct.

You can see it yourself at www.enterprisetrainingcenter.com On March 12th, a refund in the amount of $215.00 ($240.00 less $25.00) was issued to his credit card and a receipt reflecting this refund was mailed to the individual.
