Review: We have tried calling and no one has answered so we can get our stuff back. We have waited over 7 moths for our stuff and best movers of America put our stuff in storage costing $385 a month that we did not approve of. We could not get ahold of anyone and we had to replace most of what we had in the moving truck. They hired an outside company to do the moving. They finally called us back telling us we owed $3870 and the original cost we owed $1,175. Best movers of America gave us two different numbers and finally gave us another number to call. We didn't know anything about them putting it in storage. We paid the $1280 for the deposit and movers to come pick up out stuff in SC. We told them we wanted out stuff around August [redacted] and since then we haven't even gotten our stuff. We called at one point and they said they had out stuff in California and it would be here in 3 days it's been 7 months since that phone call call of having our stuff in three days. I do not feel we owe the full amount because they put in storage and lost it and found it months later at the cost of $3,870. Our next step is to contact the veterans affairs office and attorney if this is not resolvedDesired Settlement: That we pay the amount we had to pay originally pay $1,175 minus the cost of items we had to replace because of their failure to deliver our belongings on time as promised. To me $750 is a fair amount giving the cost of replacement items we had to buy.
