Entrust Bankcard Reviews (7)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

Please do provide those statements and the explain the $70 minimum on top of the other fees that where being charged.  There was no minimum in the previous year.  Also please provide me a contact number so we can try to resolve this and I can drop the [redacted] claim.

The same thing happened to me--I'm paying a 5 year contract
$90/month for equipment that is antique with as fast as technology is changing. I'm wondering if they sold a lot of these contracts and then used that money to start their business. The glossy brochures I received at the time made them seem legitimate--also the LDS missionary salesman too. It was done in haste also when I was very busy. I have 2-1/2 years left on my contract. After this I went with a large national bank--I don't care that my rate is a little higher. I don't have a contract and use an i-pay or i-phone to process.

This company makes money off of screwing other people over!!! They are very attentive in the beginning but as soon as you sign on the dotted line your SOL ! please save yourself the time and heartache and stay far away.

[redacted],

I want to apologize for all the frustrations you are going through. [redacted] has not worked for our company in over a year. In fact we have not had sales reps outside of Phx in almost 2 years. [redacted] works for another merchant service provider called [redacted] and...

has been there for almost 9 months. Our company also does not have termination fees of $500 or 48 month leases.

I will call you today to see if I can help you in anyway!

Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern;

I want to address a few things you had mentioned in your email. First, you stated you only processed once in 2013 when actually you ran transactions in January, February, March, April and then some in July. You had no transactions in May and June and you were...

charged the min processing fee of $70.95.  You had no transactions in August and September and then called into our office and spoke with [redacted] on 11/27 to request a cancellation, which we proceeded with and you had no charged for November or December. Per your conversation with [redacted] on 11/21/13 you were double billed and a credit went back to your account. In order to close an account we need a letter stating you wish to cancel, we do not cancel based on inactivity and when you sent that in we complied. At this time, no refunds will be given because you did process with us for several months and those were fees you needed to pay, as for the min processing fees, they were fees due as well and stopped once you sent us the proper documents.

If you need copies of your statements, please let us know and I will be happy to provide for you.

Thank you,

Entrust Bankcard

Absolutely, if you would like to call [redacted] at [redacted] or email him at [redacted] he will be able to provide statements, answers and help.

[redacted]BEWARE[redacted] My company was enticed to use the Entrust Bankcard processing system a couple years ago. This included the required processing terminal (which is no different than any other) but the catch is the 5 year UNBREAKABLE lease at $99.00 per month which comes with the terminal. The equipment lease is provide through a second company named [redacted]. All other processing companies I've researched provide the terminal at no cost so long as you use the processing services. Entrusts' processing was competitive but with the required equipment lease they are gouging and should be your last option for card processing. The account manager who visited and recruited my company is [redacted] you should proceed with caution if dealing with this company and their representatives. Don't get caught in the trap like I did. Beware of ENTRUST & [redacted].
