My yr old mother signed to do solar panels, but was later told by salesperson pg&e wanted 10k dollars to upgrade power lines to houseShe said no, contract should voidYet she received an intent to lein notice from companyNo work has or will be doneSo why threaten an old ladySales guy sold her something they couldn't deliver

BEWARE: I would not trust this company to do any work on my home after experiencing their unprofessional business practices After signing an agreement with Enver to install central AC into our home, they called us days later to back out because according to them, they’re going to lose money should they proceed with the installThis is after we negotiated with their VP of Sales and signed a contract with them If they were going to lose money in the first place, why sign the paperwork?
Here’s what happened:
My wife initially received a telemarketing call on her cell phone, which is peculiar considering is she is on the DO NOT CALL list The representative piqued her interest when he mentioned a program that would not cost us anything out of pocket and would "cost no more than a 2% increase on our property taxes for one year with the City of Huntington Beach." She did not believe him and found that the promise a little too good to be true, however she figured since we were looking to install central A/C for our home we should hear them out We had already received a few bids prior to Enver contacting us and we were ready to proceed with a different company I read the online reviews about Enver and they seem pretty legit so I told my wife to schedule a meeting
Meeting was then scheduled on a Saturday evening The PowerPoint sales presentation lasted about hours including negotiating time with *** and a trainee, *** After much negotiation (at one point, *** had to excuse himself and call the VP of Sales, ***, to get an approval), we signed the contract to proceed after all the guarantees that *** had promised usAt this point we were very confident in our decision to proceed considering them being a “reputable” company, great reviews and the assurance that the bid was fair and precise that we would not have to pay a penny more (we discussed our concerns with companies nickel and diming after the fact) *** assured us that we would not be nickel and dimed and if there were any discrepancies it would come out of his pay
Next, we had a site check scheduled My wife then received a call from Enver to move the appointment sooner We rearranged both our schedules to accommodate the change, as we were anxious to get the AC installed The night prior to our site check *** called to inform me that Enver would not be proceeding with the contract, as the bid was too low How can you possibly back out after you set the price? Both parties agreed upon a price, we signed a contract, paid the deposit fee and now the company decides to back out The bid that we signed with Enver wasn’t spectacular by any means; in fact, it was $greater than a bid we were originally going with in the first placeHowever, after much debate, we chose to go with Enver due to all the guarantees of “Lifetime warranty” and “Lifetime replacement”$is a small price to pay for that piece of mind
After they bailed out, both my wife and I were furiousAt this point we were vested, in time, money and emotionsWe had let strange men in our home, had phone calls with at least half a dozen representatives from Enver regarding scheduling, confirming appointments, and getting a bunch of “let me see what I can do and I’ll call you back tomorrow” only to be told the same story over and over…
The next day, we get a ring at the doorbell from ***, saying he was here to do site check from Enver We informed him that his boss *** had cancelled on us the day priorWe told him to please call *** to double check as we do not want to waste any more time with Enver if we are not proceedingAfter speaking to his Manager (who told him to proceed), he asked me for permission to continue the site check and we were still proceeding with the job It took him over hours to measure the perimeter of our home, enter every room of our home, take photos etc
A few days later my wife gets a call from ***, VP of Operations, again telling me that they cannot proceedAt this point my wife and I are lividWhat’s going on? One minute, we’re proceeding, next minute, we’re not, then we’re on again and now we’re not It takes a week of phone calls bantering back and forth, speaking to countless people in upper management for the final answer, which is they will not proceed with the job unless we come up with an additional $2, An additional $means if we went with Enver, it would cost us $MORE than had we had gone with our original company Ridiculous
I would be wary of dealing with Enver There is obviously a lack of communication between the employees at Enver One person says we’re moving forward, another person says no How can you place trust in a company that can’t even get their employees on the same page? And the “lifetime guarantee” and “lifetime warranty” selling point? Based on their past behavior, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ll deny any claim you’ll file We had a signed contract with them, paid them the deposit fee and they STILL bailed out on us I can only imagine how they’ll weasel their way out of replacing your AC unit should the need arise The “lifetime guarantee” and “lifetime warranty” selling point is only good if the company stays in business With the way Enver conducts itself, I don’t see how they can possibly stay in business
My wife and I are beyond outraged A company should stand by its word A company shouldn’t make promises that it can’t deliver If a company messes up, chalk it up to a learning experience and eat the cost Customer satisfaction is #1, right? Not at Enver At this point, it’s not about the money, but the principle behind it Enver wasted our time and energy We will be exploring our legal options as well as filing a complaint with the HERO program and the City of Huntington Beach regarding Enver’s actions
Enver obviously doesn’t care about its customer so you shouldn’t care about Enver Take your business elsewhere STAY AWAY FROM ENVER IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

Good Afternoon [redacted],
My name is [redacted] and I am the Director of Field Operations here at ENVER Energy Improvements. I was forwarded a Revdex.com complaint filed in regards to your dissatisfaction with your HVAC service. I have left you two voicemails and I am following up with an email because I would like to try and resolve your concerns.
It is my understanding that you had emailed [redacted] here at ENVER on April 20th, April 23rd, and May 3rd requesting the filters. We then had a Job Walk on May 10thand the technician indicated on his report that the filters had not been ordered nor delivered. The filters were ordered and then sat in the warehouse. Then our internal notes indicate you called in on July 6th and said the system was not getting cold enough. We set a service for July 12th, 2016. The report from the technician who did the service stated "We checked the system performance pressures and temperatures. and explained to customer how the 2 stage system works, everything was OK. 10 filters 20x25 were delivered". Furthermore the technician indicated that the original complaint was "on a very hot day" and that "the system was working fine". As a result the service was closed out.
There is no excuse for the delay in the filters being delivered to you. This is an issue I will be personally addressing. If you still have a concern regarding the system function please reach me by phone or email and I will be sure to schedule a technician out to verify proper system operation or to make necessary repairs.
Customer service is of the utmost importance to me and I take our lack of follow through and communication on your filters very seriously. Please accept my apology.
Warm Regards,
