January 12, 2016We are aware that the client would like a refund for the water feature. We are aware that the black pipe was left uncovered during the process to check one last time for any type of leakage. We are aware that the client still continues to see water loss.We are rejecting and don't agree with refunding the amount of the project. We have shown that we have acknowledged the issue as well as worked on the issue on 9 Separate occasions. With almost 30 years experience in ponds we can consider our pond division, experts. Our conclusion is that the water loss is from evaporation and excess splash from water particulates going over the liner. There are no holes in the liner. The client was present when the bare liner was visible. We indicated that we will install a new liner to the waterfall and stream. We will make sure that the liner is wider at the falls area to catch a majority of the splash. The waterfall will be rebuilt in a fashion to lessen the splash but without losing the natural look. We will also remove some of the rock in the lower basin to allow there to be more water volume present in the lower basin area. With more actual water in the lower basin, the loss of any water due to splash and evaporation will be (appear) to be less because the water service will then be greater. There will always be some water loss in any water feature. It is impossible to determine the amount of loss as everything about each feature is different. We will also install an auto fill to maintain the water level. We will connect an irrigation line form the hose outlet to the pond which will be hidden from view. The auto fill will be installed directly in the lower basin of the water feature. This will operate as long as the water from the house is on.We would like the client to agree to the above resolution and to sign a Non-Disparagment Agreement that we have attachedThank You Environmental Landscape Associates
