Mr ***, I am sorry you are not satisfied with our serviceYour system has a 10-year parts warranty and 1-year laborYou have not had any service since we installed the systemYou received a packet with warranty information at the time of installI know it is frustrating when you pay for a new system and it has a failure within a few yearsUnfortunately these things happenWe sent out our technician Darth that has over years experience and apparently you were not happy with his diagnosisI can appreciate thatIt is a diagnosisHe was there for two hours looking at your systemHe was supposed to charge you moreHe decided not to charge the standard charge due to the unfortunate circumstance, therefore, we still stand by our decision to charge the $diagnosis fee We are the only Trane dealer in the Reno Sparks area so the fact that you say you had another Trane dealer look at it is a little suspectThey may be able to buy Trane parts but that doesn't make them a dealer As far as the $450.00, it is a charge that will be refunded once we get our credit form our distributer As I mentioned before in a phone conversation, when you have to get a new part they charge us for the part then process warranty against invoice later so we need that to cover the invoice if they don't cover the warranty claimLike a core charge, we will reimburse you the money once the claim is processed and paidIf they decide to see proof of service on your equipment they will not cover warranty claim on partsI have seen this happen in the past You haven't done any service on your system, therefore, they can deny your claim
