My name is Michelle [redacted] and I received your letter today Monday September 12th 2016 in regards to a complaint filed by Fred  [redacted]. Environmental Specialists has spent excessive amounts of time on the phone with Mr. [redacted] himself and I have also spoken to his attorney Eugene [redacted] after...

he sent a letter and I explained to him the exact thing I am going to write to you also. Environmental Specialists LLC has serviced Mr. [redacted]s septic system for the past 6 years which has also been the same septic driver servicing this system with the last time being on June 13th  of 2016. When we received a call from Mr. [redacted] in late July he stated that our driver inserted the filter brush incorrectly and that is what caused the back up in Mr. [redacted]s residence and he wanted us to pay the plumbing bill.  Mr. [redacted] was apparently having some problems over a month later after we serviced his septic system and contacted a plumber to come to his residence. Please review service write up from plumber that I have attached. If Mr. [redacted] would have contacted Environmental Specialists I will tell you in writing how we would have handled the situation. The first thing we would have done is ask Mr. [redacted] to please lift the septic system lid to see if it was full.  We would never start jetting without diagnosing the problem first. Secondly the plumber that jetted this line caused the back up in his residence and septic to overflow from septic system and then passed the blame to Environmental Specialists for the backup that was caused by jetting the line on July 19th 2016 which I have on numerous occasions have tried to explain to Mr. [redacted]. When I questioned if he was present when the filter was pulled he responded no that the plumber told him that was caused all the problems.  Even hypothetically if our tech would have placed the filter back incorrectly which please let me remind you that we have been to this residence 6 previous years in a row and not had any issues Environmental Specialists was not the company that jetted the line that day and caused the back up.  Mr. [redacted] even relayed to me during one of our phone conversations that he has had this problem before and this same plumber came to jet the line so they thought it was the same thing as the other times they have been there to do service which has no relation to us pumping his septic system.
