Review: I called Pointe pest control to have them come out and spray the outside as well as the inside of a rental house my family and I moved into. This was a short lease of only 4-6 months so I just wanted a one time treatment after seeing a few to many spiders. The landlord agreed to the one time treatment and I scheduled a time to have Pointe come out and spray the exterior and interior of the house. After 5-10 min it was all done and I was approached with a bill to pay. I had let the office personnel know at the time of scheduling the appointment that the landlord would be paying for the treatment and they should be billed. I was told by the gentleman that sprayed the house that the landlord would be billed and my signature was just showing that the work was done. 30 days later Pointe Pest Control showed up again but tis time just sat out front of my house. After the driver never got out of the truck I just figured he was just parked doing paperwork. After he drove off I noticed a bill for services rendered. I called the office to see what was going on then was informed that I signed a contract for a years service. I asked for a copy of the contract and have not received one. I would not of signed a contract for 12 months of service knowing we would only occupy the dwelling for 4-6months. They are charging me for the month I did not authorize and if I want to cancel this bogus contract it will cost me $90. I am being billed $191.74 I guess for the unauthorized treatment and a cancellation fee to a contract I never signed.Desired Settlement: I want these charges dropped I never signed a contract or never authorized more than the one initial treatment to be done. The one treatment has been paid in full and this bill for $191.74 is a issue that the scheduling employee or the driver need to get worked out.

I have talked to the salesman of Pointe Pest Control and he was more than willing to get the dispute taken care of. I clearly had misunderstood what I was signing and he took care of the issue better than what I would of thought he could do. I should have made a better effort in working this issue out with him but because of situations with our house just burning down I failed to take the time needed to get the issued solved the correct way. I would recommend this company for any future work needed done by myself or other parties needing this service done. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9778662, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
