[redacted],In response to your complaint with the Revdex.com. We are in acknowledgment that after the soil remediation, your property did need restoration work. This was acknowledged in response to your requests by our [redacted] who visited your property to...

determine the level of restoration that was necessary. The [redacted] also contacted your insurance company to determine if they would cover any of the restoration costs, as is common as part of a leaking oil tank claim. We contacted your insurance company on 3/*/15, after you contacted us regarding this. Between then and now, we have been in touch with both you and your insurance company attempting to rectify the situation. We did let you know that we would be back out to take care of the restoration, not that we would not deal with your issues as you stated in your complaint. We also let you know on several occasions that this hadn’t been possible during the month of March due to the rain and snow. It is necessary to wait for dryer weather to avoid a greater I mpact to your landscape. It should also be noted that this work has been scheduled to take place and was confirmed by our office with you, previous to the receipt of this complaint. As far as the job beginning in October and the cleanup not taking place until February, this was directly related to your insurance company. Envirostar has no control over how quickly they respond to a leaking oil tank claim and approve us to remediate the soil. The outstanding balance is unable to be waived, it applies directly to costs such as contaminated soil transportation, disposal and work that has been completed by our company outlined in the contract that you agreed to. Also note that there were to be no additional charges being applied for the time and materials for the restoration that is not being covered by your insurance company. Should we not receive the balance of $5,237.17, we will forward this to our attorney to take legal action. The contract which you signed states that we have the legal right to place a mechanics lien against your property and we will certainly do so should it be necessary. We have been more than willing to accommodate your requests up to this point but absolutely expect payment for the money which we are due. Again, as previously confirmed with you, we are scheduled to return to your property on 4/**/15 to rectify the situation. If this is not acceptable, we need to hear from you immediately. If we do not hear from you, it will be assumed that you do wish us to return and we will be there on 4/**/15 to complete the restoration of your property.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. I HIRED THEM TO REMOVE UNDERGROUND TANK AND INSTALL NEW ONE in August 2015. On the day they did the "work", THEY "CREATED" a purported "oil spill" and phoned it into the State Dept. of Environmental conversation. Work had to stop. I had to call insurance company. They sent REAL remediators -- who took soil borings and found NO CONTAMINATION (hence, the insurer disclaimed liability), leaving me in a "catch-22". ENVIROSTAR then refused to do anything to "fix" the problem other than to cover the hole. When the State said their report was not good enough, they demanded more money to -re-dig out the hole -- just to confirm NO NEED TO REMEDIATE. When they did re-fill the hole it was with construction-debris-laden fill, of a terrible quality, and which is "bubbling up" in my yard and ruined the area. They are arrogant, unresponsive, and not honorable. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Review: On 10/**/14 I contracted for Envirostar to remove an oiltank. The location of said tank was underneath a beautiful stone patio abutting the back of my fieldstone house. On 12/**/14 Envirostar carefully removed and stacked flagstones from above the worklocation, dug up the oiltank, found it had a leak, emptied oil from the tank, carefully put soil back in the hole and placed the oiltank on top. The tank was covered in plastic and the excavation was surrounded by orange safty mesh.I paid Envirostar $2,792.88 and was happy with their work.To deal with oil leak

I then contracted with Envirostar to agedate the soil for possible contamination. The agedating was performed on 01/**/15 and I paid $3,053.21. So far so good.

On 02/**/15 Envirostar came to do the remediation work. At this time they transported contaminated soil to a container placed at a great distance from the jobsite, in my driveway and the backhoe, which transported the contaminated soil, spilled soil all over my backyard, frontyard and driveway. They also broke flagstones that either were not removed or stacked nilly willy around the excavation. They left the work site in shambles and did NOT add sufficient new soil to fill the hole. Within one week sinkholes were appearing and treeroots of a 100-year old maple tree near the site were left exposed. The soil level now is ca 2 feet below the surrounding area. The answer, when I called to complain, was that 'they do not come back, once the job is complete.

Since then the [redacted] of the companyhas relented and said that Envirostar will add fill. However, my concern now is that that will not be sufficient. I have original dirt and rocks all over my property and at least 12 broken flagstones, that they will not deal with. So far I have paid $4,000.00 towards the remediation work and owe them $5,237.17. I do not trust that they will do an acceptable job and would rather spend that money to hire a trustworthy person to finish the job and bring my patio and property back to its original beauty.Desired Settlement: I would like to have nothing further to do with Envirostar. The long drawnout process, which started back in October of last year has caused me considerable anxiety and sleepless nights. I want them to waive the outstanding balance so

that I can put that money to better use restoring my patio and property.
