Complaint[redacted] said he could not do project in time required but has not returned deposit. Deposit given February 5. $20000 deposit cashed on February 9. Work could start March 14. Never started. On March 25 said he would send deposit back. April 2 said he would transfer money to different account and send. April 7 said he sent check. Never received. April 18 said must be lost. April 19 said he forgot to mail and will today. At this point I do not believe him and going to attorney for suit.Desired SettlementI want my $20000 back. Good funds.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted], PresContact Phone: 775-331-1715Contact Email: [redacted]@charter.netI sent her refund certified mail today, prior to losing the mail which I found in my wives car last night I met with the Nv. state contractors board to make sure of my rights, I spent a ton of time on this project and was told I was within my contractor in good standings rights to deduct from her deposit, especially since I have a signed contract, a deposit, and produced a plan that she was happy enough with to get ARC approval on. I am not pleased that I can't make her happy, very rare for me. I think you can look at my record and see this is not how we conduct business. She wanted a high quality job completed in the mud and snow, I informed her that wasn't possible but would be willing provide, at no cost to her, a temporary area for her dogs. We couldn't have even done more than half of the landscape due the fact the spa company was booked a long way out. Just wasn't a reasonable way to give her a quality job and we won't do less,and obviously different than hers. Long long story hope this give you the gist of what's going on. Mr [redacted] never accepted that and canceled twice because he just didn't want to do it that way. It was not his choice. I am the client. As to this complaint I told him it was suggested as a first step as suggested by attorneys as he kept on saying he sent the money but it never came and after Over 2 weeks of excuses I just didn't believe him anymore. Still don't until I get the money and it clears my bank. I sent a text saying you said you sent check- I never received it. His response was that he changed his mind and thought he could now do part of the yard with temporary sod etc at an additional cost. it was not his choice to 'change his mind' again.
