Envision Design Reviews (11)

I would not recommend Envision for small projects; After I signed the contract, Rob wasted months of my time to tell me they had to jump ship on usMy kitchen remodel was supposed to be a 2-week project, instead we got weeks of unreturned phone calls, empty promises and no work doneApparently, they didn't have the time to deal with us in the first placeMy wife and I have our first child on the way and if they don't value that, they won't value you

Our complaint was resolved about a week after we submitted it Since it took Envision Designl about months to return money to me that they had overcharged me, despite frequent attempts by me to contact them Their phones didn't work when I called them Revdex.com came through in excellent fashion Thenks

Envision Design did a simple bathroom upgrade in Dec 2013, and we were so impressed we had them do a complete master bathroom remodel in Feb/Mar Scott and ** are extremely professional front-end executives, and were personally involved from beginning to end I especially liked their approach of sitting down and working up quotes by detailed tasks with line-by-line prices (try getting that with other contractors!) They were very supportive in offering various material choices and allowing us to do some minor tasks ourselves to stay within our budgets The project site leader, ***, and all the workers were hard working, respectful, and stayed on schedule Envision met or exceeded all our expectations

While I did not end up choosing Envision for my project, it was a good experience working with the firm in what is not a simple, cut-and-dried process, a new kitchen. A detailed breakdown of charges was available and the line of communication was open for my questions. The owner was easy to work with and answered all questions. Product quality as presented was on par or better than other firms. I appreciated working with the firm and would suggest considering their services for a project.

Review: In remodeling our bathrooms, Envision Design initially recommended using schluters and/or bullnose tile edges on our shower tiles. We decided against using either, and so informed the project manager before any tile work was begun. Nevertheless, the items were never deleted from our contract, and when the company used my credit card to cover the final payment, I was still charged with the expense of the two materials--$368. I had paid the company in four installments, following the completion of each stage of the work. Each time there was a payment to be made, the project manager would inform me in person that it was due, and give me a chance to O.K. the payment. Except for the final payment. In that case, I was not informed that the amount was about to be taken out of my credit card account, only learning about it a week or so later. I also learned then that the cost of the two materials was included in the funds they took from my bank. I immediately informed the manager of the mistake and asked him to return the funds to my account. That was 4 months ago. Since then I have repeatedly tried to contact the project manager, and the overall supervisor, about the matter, but my calls were not accepted, and messages I left were not returned. Finally, I was able to get the project manager on the phone two weeks ago and asked for resolution of my problem. He said he would take care of it, but since then I have not received the money back nor heard again from the manager or the company. The project manager and his supervisor still decline to answer my calls or to call me back when I leave messages.Desired Settlement: I want the company to return the money they mistakenly included in their final payment charge: $366.
