I was approved for a mortgage with Envoy a week before closing, they denied a loanThey knew up front that I lived two and a half hours away from the house I was purchasingThey also knew I had a job that was two and a half hours away from the houseThey knew all of this up front and we proceeded with the signing of purchase agreement and I paid $for appraisal, $for inspection and $Earnest moneyI was told a week before closing I am denied because I don't have employment near the houseI had to basically ask a lot of times for my denial letter and when I finally got it, it said I was denied because of DEBT TO INCOME RATIO This is not why they told me I was deniedI have no debt, other than at the time, $left on a loan and make almost $43,I have emailed back and forth with a compliance manager with their headquarters in Texas asking for the $back charged to Envoy and she keeps saying she is either investigating or asking the loan officer or ...? I'm getting the run around nonstop Envoy has been a bad choice and they screwed me out of $1340! I am now going to a lawyer about this to seek answers because I am tired of the run around!

I was told a week before closing I am denied because I don't have employment near the house. I had to basically ask a lot of times for my denial letter and when I finally got it, it said I was denied because of DEBT TO INCOME RATIO. This is not why they told me I was denied. I have no debt, other than at the time, $300 left on a loan and make almost $43,000.
