ENVY Homes Reviews (25)

In response to Mr. [redacted] complaint filed with the Revdex.com #[redacted],We are so sorry to hear of Mr. [redacted] billing/rebate concern but it has been since resolved.  The confusion surrounding the $425 is related to an SRP rebate for energy efficiency work done on the [redacted] house....

Originally, that rebate was to be assigned to ENVY Homes as the contractor but due to restrictions by SRP's energy audit program the rebate is not allowed to be assigned to the contractor as form of payment.  An adjustment had to be made with the billing for the [redacted] to pay ENVY Homes the $425 and SRP would then send a rebate check of the same amount to the Stinsons.  The problem and confusion was further exacerbated when ENVY Homes tried to process the rebate paperwork for the [redacted] only to discover SRP required a transfer of energy audit files from a previous contractor they were working with to be able to process any rebates.  That transfer request could only be made by the [redacted] and not the contractor which is an unfortunate roadblock caused by SRP.  Due to the confusion and complexity of the SRP rebate program we scheduled a meeting at the [redacted] house to contact SRP together and finally resolve the billing/rebate problem.  We do apologize for a gaps in communication but once we were made aware of the situation we promptly started researching the concern and one of the owners of ENVY Homes personally handled the closing of their file.  We appreciate the [redacted] choosing us for their energy efficiency needs and we appreciate their patience while resolving the issue with SRP.-- [redacted]ENVY Homes

Had a great experience with Envy. They were very trustworthy and respectful of my home and family. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

We just had ENVY completely upgrade the insulation, A/C duck work and seal all leaks in our 40 plus year old home. We couldn't be happier with the results so far. And we are looking forward to a much cooler summer next year. e can already tell the A/C unit is working a lot less but the house is maintaining a comfortable 76 degrees. Chris and Tajuan and the other 3 men working in our home showed the utmost respect and care for not only out home but to me as well, in the week they were working and I could not have asked for better workmen.....they are all a credit to ENVY.

We were referred to Envy homes through the APS energy audit program. The audit was very thorough and we engaged Envy homes to complete the recommended work. They were very professional, timely as promised and we are very satisfied with their work. A final audit was done to ensure the work accomplished the anticipated goals. There was minor additional work needed that was quickly completed by Envy homes.

Work was Performed in Feb 2015, The Audit was performed, showing need for sealing various areas of the house and a lack of insulation in several areas of the house.

We requested the work be done to bring the house up to current standards. The sealing of various points of air leakage and adding insulation to the attic was completed in a timely professional manor. Another audit was performed and showed great improvement over the original audit.

The working crew have gone thru the work they are doing and explained it all to me. They are very easy to ask questions of and will answer them all. Very hard workers. Actually, it is more of a job than I thought it would be. They are very thoughtful of the interior of the house and have gone to great lengths correct old problems and make the system right. I wish the builder would have done this much work, but they didn't.

ENVY Homes did a FABULOUS job! They performed a full assessment on our home. They showed us where our problem areas were and what could be done to fix them.

The workers were awesome, extremely hard working and very professional, arrived everyday on time, explained to me what they were doing and kept me informed on what they were going to do the next day. The quality of work and workmanship was top notch. These guys really know what they are doing and the end results have us beyond happy. I don't know how these workers do it - working in an attic under extremely HOT (110+ degrees) conditions and in 30+ years of accumulated dirt and very fine dust. I knew it would be a big job (5 days long) but it actually was more of a job than I thought it would be. They were very thoughtful of the dust that could enter into the interior of the homoe and ENVY went to great lengths correcting all of the old system problems to make the system right and work better. Our AC is running less and running better. Envy was great through the entire process, They also re ran the initial assessment to show us the improvement.

We would HIGHLY recommend this company to everyone, it's so refreshing to work with such a great company and great employees.

Thank You ENVY and your entire!

Great staff, very knowledgeable and courteous. Excellent work.

We are very happy with the results that Envy home has done to our home to make it more energy efficient. In our last two electric bills we have seen a remarkable reduction in cost. The Envy team was very professional in their work ethics and keeping us informed on the how and the why they accomplish their efficiency projections.

I was completely satisfied with Envy Homes and the work they performed. We saw a significant decrease in the amount of energy we used compared to prior year. After the install of the new duct work, the rooms were balanced and no more warm rooms or cold. A major improvement was to our master bedroom. It was always 10 degrees warmer or colder that any other room in the house.

All in I was very satisfied with the work and the employees.

Envy was great to work with on our house. They were extremely professional and made themselves available to answer all of our questions. We have already referred them to several of our friends that want to make their homes as efficient as possible. Great work Envy Homes and thanks for everything!

I was interested in having an energy review done on my home and had talked to several companies before I decided to use ENVY Homes. On my first contact with them I found they answered my questions directly, knowledgably and in a context I could understand. When the initial review was performed I was impressed with all the information I received. I was not pressured into anything and worked with them on the best options to make my home energy efficient. The crew was diligent in their work, respectful of my family, myself and my home, made sure everything was completed and clean in each phase completed. [redacted] called and wanted to inspect the completed work - All work listed was found to be completed properly and in high standard. I was extremely satisfied and impressed I had an energy audit and work completed by ENVY Homes on a second home. I highly recommend this company.

My experience with Envy Homes was disappointing. I fully expected a licensed/bonded contractor to not use deceptive sales tactics. We were told after the job(HVAC re-duct and insulation) was finished that they don't tell customers exactly how dirty the house will be because it will scare them off. The job was completed very late and became a huge inconvenience. I cannot recommend a business that feels multiple admitted mistakes warrant full payment in the end. They were given every opportunity to save face, but chose to demand full payment. The alternative that would have left us satisified customers would have been a discount that allowed for overhead costs and no profit.

+1

Envy Homes has been a pleasure to work with; from our initial sales representative visit with Sarah and energy audit with Phil; to the installation crew, and follow up phone calls with the Owners, Steve and Dustin. At no time did we feel pressure to make excessive purchases. Sarah worked closely with us to ensure we would make the best decisions on the return of our investments.

The entire team was completely professional from start to finish, and when combined with the quality of their work and product ENVY Homes earns and A+ from us! We couldn't be happier with the results and expect long term energy savings.

Working with Envy Homes was one of the best Contractor experiences we have ever had. We were having issues with several rooms in our house always being hot. We had one of the big box stores out to look and they basically just said it was the way the house was built. We were not happy with that answer. We saw Envy out in the neighborhood working on another house and stopped them and talked with them.

A few days later, they were out here doing a full assessment on our house. Very impressive. They showed us where our problem areas were and what we could do to fix them. They even showed us how we could get APS to cover some of the costs.

We hired them and they spent a good week here, up in our attic which was brutally hot, yet they were very professional. Each day, each member of the team would come in and say "Hello" & "Good Morning", they would tell us what they were going to be doing and they would do it. The quality of work and workmanship was top notch. These guys really know what they are doing and the end results have us beyond happy. Our electric bill has gone down, our AC is running less and running better. All the rooms in our house are now cool and we enjoy being in them. But the best part is that now we can keep the AC thermostat higher yet it feels cooler. WOW.

Envy was great through the entire process, educating us the entire way and helping us understand what the real issues were and how to best fix them. The process was amazingly simple, the results beyond our expectations and they even came in after and re ran the initial tests to show us the improvements.

We would HIGHLY recommend this company to everyone, it's refreshing to work with such a great company and great employees. KUDOS!!
