Instead of coming to us, the professional authority on tattooing in the area, to examine her tattoo, [redacted] decided to go on a public social media smear campaign, showing off her tattoo, which was in the ugly middle stage of the healing process - about 1.5 weeks away from a completed healing....
To clarify: we found out about [redacted]'s dissatisfaction by happening upon her social media post instead of her bringing her concern directly to us. We have also tattooed [redacted]'s father, and his tattoos always have a rough time during healing, but ultimately turn out great. We know that tattoos can sometimes look really concerning during the healing process, so we kept our cool and somehow convinced her to come in and show us her tattoo. She came in with her father. We heard her out and explained in a very professional manner that the scabbing and fresh layers of skin that she termed as "butchered" and "scarring" was actually well within the range of a normal healing process, and if she leaves it alone, everything under the scabbing will heal just fine and then the scabbing will slough off naturally - like her father's. Her father seemed to agree with this thought, reminding her of his healing process. Nonetheless, arms crossed and red faced, she had her mind made up before coming in and there was no convincing her otherwise. We advised her to wait until the healing process had completed instead of passing public judgement on us. We also reminded her of our touchup guarantee and offered a full refund if the healed tattoo was not to her satisfaction. Instead of taking our advice, she decided to submit a Revdex.com complaint before the tattoo has had a chance to finish the healing process.
