My apologies concerning my previous message it was a blunder I wanted to thank you for your speedy reply and also request your mediation expertise I had previously written but I was obviously unclear about my needsI would like to be compensated for my expenses thus far and in the future I went to the doctors office and was told that the part of my cuticle wich seals up my nail bed to keep germs out was pulled off and I no longer have a protective barrierThe doctor told me to keep my nail covered at all times and to use antibiotic ointment ' He also told me that it might take up to a year for my nail to grow out and be healthy again,I pray that this is not the case First of all the top portion of my finger is very red, sore and oozes green puss quite a bitIf Im going to have to keep it covered with band aids on an ongoing basis the cost is going to become expensive Each box of Bandaid brand band aids is on average about 3.00$ and I go through about ten a day, every time I wash my hands I apply ointment and put on a new bandaidI hope that you can see how tedious this process is and all because the gentleman whom I paid to paint my nails was careless I do not feel that I should have to pay for his mistake it certainly not my responsibility.I paid him for a service and instead he mauled my cuticle bedIt's bad enough that my nail hurts a lot but it also looks very disgusting! so my children tell me Im also suspicious that he most likely does not have a license to manicure nails and feet, I am unsure of the technicians name but he is the only working male at the salon Im asking for help in this process and would greatly appreciate your assistanceI received your voice mail concerning the amount of money I'm entitled toIm thinking that dollars should suffice, II believe that should be enough for bandaids and Neosporin for awhile ,Do you have any suggestions ? I was wondering does the B.B.Bhave the authority to look at employee certifications? I feel that this particular employee is working without a valid licenseThank You [redacted]

This nail salon is very unprofessional and rude towards customersLong story short, I came in to get my nails done, I preferred to get them done by one specific lady but she refused to service me because I didn't want to go to anyone else to do my nailsI spoke to the so called manager and asked if she could do my nails and she told me she was leaving for the dayI feel like I was really mistreated due to me having my own preference in who I wanted to service meI'm just putting this out there in hopes that you ladies don't waste your time going to envy nails, located on *** *** in queens NY ,to be treated unfairlyThey have unlicensed workers there so you would think they would be on the best behaviorI'm going to continue to complain about this salon until I get a case

My apologies concerning my previous message it was a blunder.  I wanted to thank you for your speedy reply and also request your mediation expertise....

I had previously written but I was obviously unclear about my needs.
I would like to be compensated for my expenses thus far and in the future . I went to the doctors office and was told that the part of my cuticle wich seals up my nail bed to keep germs out was pulled off and I no longer have a protective barrier. The doctor told me to keep my nail covered at all times and to use antibiotic ointment ' He also told me that it might take up to a year for my nail to grow out and be healthy again,I pray that this is not the case .
First of all the top portion of my finger is very red, sore and oozes green puss quite a bit. If Im going to have to keep it covered with band aids on an ongoing basis the cost is going to become expensive . Each box of Bandaid brand band aids is on average about 3.00$ and I go through about ten a day, every time I wash my hands I apply ointment and put on a new bandaid. I hope that you can see how tedious this process is and all because the gentleman whom I paid to paint my nails was careless .
I do not feel that I should have to pay for his mistake it certainly not my responsibility.I paid him for a service and instead he mauled my cuticle bed. It's bad enough that my nail hurts a lot but it also looks very disgusting! so my children tell me . Im also suspicious that he most likely does not have a license to manicure nails and feet, I am unsure of the technicians name but he is the only working  male at the salon.  Im asking for help in this process and would greatly appreciate your assistance.
I received your voice mail concerning the amount of money I'm entitled to. Im thinking that 300.00 dollars should suffice, II believe that should be enough for bandaids and Neosporin for awhile ,Do you have any suggestions ? I was wondering does the B.B.B. have the authority to look at employee  certifications? I feel that this particular employee is working without a valid license. Thank You [redacted]

Review: I get my nails and feet done with my mother and friend every 1 to 2 weeks, and spend good money doing so! I have visited the establishment on [redacted] ([redacted] location) with my mother and friend two weeks ago, and we were denied service on a Saturday as we arrived at 6pm (The business advertises a 7pm close). We revisited this past weekend on Sunday, this time we arrived at 4pm. The "[redacted]" snatched the sign in sheet from us while we were writing and very rudly told us "It's Sunday and we are closed!' She was very aggressive and offensive, shouting at us that we are "ridiculous for expecting her to work a full day on a Sunday" I asked why the door was open and the closing time published as 7pm. While this was going on, another customer came in, and was seated immedialtly for sevice as she was a Friend of the employee. There were at least 4 women seated and waiting for service. This is a clear indication of discriminatory behavior. We were humiliated, and treated with such disgrace. When I asked for the [redacted]s name, she refused to disclose any information. She didn't even want to provide the [redacted]s name, or phone number, or email address, or mailing address, or social media account. She explained in Spanish (as she is of mexican decent) that "the [redacted] doesn't care because they are never onsight, so she determines the hours of operation at her own will". I took a picture of her, as this is the only proof of who she is. 3 weeks prior to this, another employee named [redacted] slammed a nail polish bottle on the table while servicing me, saying "you want a free design, so u can't ask for more than 2 colors" So I explained that I am happy to pay for what I want, and asked her to name her price for a nice design with respectful service. She then stood up took my purse and coat and moved it to another station (so another girl can paint my nails) then slammed my tip in front of me and said keep it!. The actual technical service , and pricing if this establishment is amazing, and that's why I have revisited, after the abusive treatment. However, this is not something that any consumer should have to accept. There are roaches running on the tables and chairs, the bathroom has no toilet paper. They pick and choose what time they close, and who they will service. The do not stand by their advertised hours, They cause arguments between customers by not following the sign in sheet, and they never provide receipts for paid services. They also claim to not have any contact information for the [redacted]. I wonder how many unhappy customers walk away from this business, and how much money the [redacted] is losing when they close up to 3 hrs earlier than advertised??? Thank God for the [redacted] location next door at [redacted]. Service is available through closing as advertised, and they provide clean hostipable and fair service, otherwise I would never walk into another Envy Nails again! [redacted] Is saving your business. [redacted] and the pedicure ladies are the only ones worth my time and money at [redacted]. Everyone else should be fired! I will never recommend anyone else to this location and have already shared this info on my social media accounts. me and my mother and friend all walked out that day with our money, just like the previous Saturday visit.Desired Settlement: You guys need an exterminator,

An onsight "real" manager,

An ethics training in discrimination,

Customer service/hospitality training

You need to honor your advertising

We are owed an apology 100%

And at the very least, a complimentary service for the 3 of us!

We spent car service both ways to travel here and be turned away twice.

Review: My 14yr old went to get her nails done, and the little girl that they also have doing nails looks around 15-16yrs old. My daughter said she kept trying to explain to the lady what she wanted done but she kept saying mommy I know. After her nails were finished she went to the drying station and hit her nail and messed it up. The girl scraped off the part that clumped up and mashed it down to flatten it with her finger and went over it with the polish, the nail was still lumpy. They were also supposed to cut down, that wasn't done. the fill in job that was performed was very unprofessional and the color tip was slanted. The job was so sloppy, I could believe it. I went to reconcile this, they said they dont know when the [redacted] comes in nor do they have the number. They told me my daughter messed her own nail up that I knew already but the repair job was crappy. They also said the girl who did her nails will be in the following day and that I could come to let her redo them. I don't want her to redo her nails, according to the description, she may possibly be a minor with no license. She also can't operate the nail file tool because she kept burning my daughter.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund and yet they should be investigated, I didn't see any licenses displayed.
