At Enzo Custom Cyles we take pride in our work and completely serving our customers Unfortunately this is a situation that could have been avoided, but obviously there was mis-communication from both parties The customer will receive the last $of her initial down payment In regards to the complaint, my shops close at pm central time, and the communication efforts from the customer were conducted after business hours This hindered both parties from having open communication opportunitiesThe customer's build was taking a longer than expected due to extenuating circumstances, which is why both parties agreed to stop the build and for me to refund her the deposit.Since her build had already started, I didn't feel it was necessary to charge a restocking fee of some sort, so I agreed to sell the bike THEN refund her the money: This was agreed upon by the customerOut of good faith, I wired her $10,dollars and received a text message from the customer telling me to not worry about the remaining $until either the bike sold, or we figured a way to donate the remaining funds to a charity in honor of her grandson The bike has not sold as of this date, therefore I was not obligated to the remaining amount or the charity donation In order to complete another good faith obligation, I am making the decision to simply refund the entire remaining amount to close this situation, before her bike sells As mentioned, this was simply a situation that could have been avoided, and we will do everything to preserve the rights of our customers and have done so for many yearsI thought I was doing the right thing by the customer, which was the ultimate goal from the beginning I hope we can resolve this situation quickly and efficiently with the customer

At Enzo Custom Cyles we take pride in our work and completely serving our customers.  Unfortunately this is a situation that could have been avoided, but obviously there was mis-communication from both parties.  The customer will receive the last $5000.00 of her initial down payment....

In regards to the complaint, my shops close at 6 pm central time, and the communication efforts from the customer were conducted after business hours.  This hindered both parties from having open communication opportunities. The customer's  build was taking a longer than expected due to extenuating circumstances, which is why both parties agreed to stop the build and for me to refund her the deposit.Since her build had already started, I didn't feel it was necessary to charge a restocking fee of some sort, so I agreed to sell the bike THEN refund her the money:  This was agreed upon by the customer. Out of good faith, I wired her $10,000.00 dollars and received a text message from the customer telling me to not worry about the remaining $5000.00 until either the bike sold, or we figured a way to donate the remaining funds to a charity in honor of her grandson.  The bike has not sold as of this date, therefore I was not obligated to the remaining amount or the charity donation.  In order to complete another good faith obligation, I am making the decision to simply refund the entire remaining amount to close this situation, before her bike sells.
