I went in on Black Friday because I heard that they were having a deal. I went in with my mom after I had made an appointment, and I got a tour of the building. All is well they were nice they had good customer service and they had let me know about the billing that would take place on January 20. I got pushed into personal training after being told I would need the help since I hadn’t had a membership before. They set me up with a trainer and that was it. No information whats so ever about the training.
I got signed up for a 4 month contract and I thought all was okay. I believed I would have the funds to pay for it since it was just the 24 dollars a month. I was told if I gave a good yelp review I would be able to get the month of December free as I thought that was awesome! I was never told I would be getting charged 68 dollars twice a month for the training. I went to the first session and I had a decent time with the trainer she was nice and made me feel comfortable, but I didn’t know what was coming next. I had went into my bank account a few days later and saw I was negative 67 dollars and I called immediately. I spoke to the people at the desk and told them all my info and what I believed was going on. The guy on the phone told me yeah let me look at your review and speak to the person who told you that and give you a call back. I never once got a call back that day so I waited till the next day, no call.
And then the next day ( no call still), so finally I took it in my hands and called them to ask about what they had talked about with it. I had to talk about my experience yet again with a completely different person to which she said, let me talk to the sale person who helped you. She came back and told me he wouldn’t be able to help with that since he couldn’t access that information. She then told me to call back AGAIN on Monday. I feel like a chicken running around with my head cut off and it’s ridiculous. It has ruined my experience for gyms. I want to give it 100 negative stars.
