Review: The company sent duplicate bills for patient's portion of emergency treatment in October, 2013.

This company does billing for emergency room treatment. They received substantial payment from Medicare for treatment for [redacted] in October, 2013. They then sent duplicate bills for patients portion saying "the billing dept was behind in its posting of payments." Yet the next months bills were still being sent out. [redacted] agreed a credit of $29.21 was due but after many phone calls to [redacted], no credit has been received. How many senior citizens like myself as well as others have been taken advantage of . We are talking about $29.21 not $2900!

Review: I have repeatedly tried to fix the insurance issue .They keep billing a insurance company that is not mine. I have sent them 4 times faxes of corrected insurance information.I have called them at least 6 times in the last 1 and 1/2 years,they keep sending be bills and are telling me I owe them them $ 735.00. They are way past timely filing to get reimbursed and it is not my financial respondsibilty.I sent them another fax this morning with a copy of the EOB denying the claim for timely filing.I do not any faith they will resolve this issue and not send me to collections.This is a form of harassment to me. Review: On October 28th 2013 I went to the emergency room for a lump on my upper inner thigh. Since I am self pay, they had me pay for the hospital fee in the amount of $493.34 before I left. A few weeks later I received a bill in the amount of $1193.00. The break down goes as follows: emergency dept visit $550. And drainage of skin abscess $643. I feel that I am getting charged twice for the same service. Overcharged as well. Insurance doesn't even pay that much.Desired Settlement: Since I paid this bill already, I would like reimbursement.
