I called this business so many times after the phone stoped working, They kept telling me day after day that they will get the technician to fix the issue and that dragged for weeks Finally I called to speak to a supervisor which is the same person since this company is ran literally by employee They told me after weeks of back and forth that they recommend we switch carriers because there is no ETA for the fixing We cancelled the service and I specifically asked them if we owe any $ if we cancel now The lady on the phone said no you don't owe anything So we cancelled and switched to another carrier We ended up getting a bill now for more than all other previousbills, when we called to find out the lady said that we were late on the previous bill which she told us not to pay We were clients for years and were never later So she lied straight to my face by saying we don't owe anything

Review: I was customer of EOT long distance service almost 10 years.

Recently I cancelled my land phone line service and call to EOT Customer Service to cancel their service also.

I was surprised when I received the bill stating that I own them for the period when I didn’t have phone service.

I called to the EOT Customer Service and was trying to explain that I cancelled my service long time ago and didn’t get their service.

But the officer (Ivy) was very rude and said that it doesn’t matter and I have to pay anyway.Desired Settlement: Drop the charges for the cancelled period.

Review: This company provides long distance and international phone services to different countries around the world. It charges monthly fee disregarding if calls have been made or not and because of this it can guarantee the low phone call rates (according to customer representative.) In March 2014 EOT/Media Three Corp doubled the rates it used to charge for some of the countries and customers were not notified about the increase. When I called customer service and asked about the increase they just told me that it is a new rate and they dont have time and ability to notify customers about rates increase. When I asked about my account to be credited for the rate difference for calls that I made not being aware of increase I was told they have not authority to do it. When I was transferred to [redacted] (her name is [redacted]) and discussed the issue with her she told me that only boss can give the credit but she does not have permission to bother the boss. Very professional!!!The amount of charges for calls that I made is less than $20 and its not a matter of money at this point. It is a matter of principle. I have been a loyal customer of this company for more than five years and was in disbelieve when the just double the rates without notifying first and giving me the option to make decision to continue using their services or switch to another company. Their customer service acknowledged the problem and accepted the fault but did nothing to resolve the issue.Desired Settlement: I would like my account to be credited for rate difference before I was aware about rate increase.
