I have been an Epic Bay 22SC for about a year and a half nowI am very satisfied with the service I have received from Epic and the boat dealer in Florida where I purchased the boatI had two minor issues with boat that were taken care of by dealer and Epic took care of itI did not have to pay one centSo far the boat has been great and held up very wellI make long runs out to Gulf of Mexico and fish and not had one issueI also use it offshore for mahi and sailfish and it handles greatDryest boat I have ever hadGreat on gas and gets me in shallow waterHandles chop greatGreat storage on boatFor the price you are getting a lot of boatTrust me I fish the [redacted] out of this thing in the Keys and gulfBut I do take care of it and don't abuse it in bad weather or 3-foot seas
Horrible company with substandard products and service Their model of practice is to undersell the market and then ignore problems and warranty claims The boats made by this facility are not all bad, but many are substandard with little attention to deliver a consistent high quality product Its more about production numbers than production quality As such, many defective boats leave this facility and are passed on to unsuspecting consumers If the consumer complains they are typically ignored for several months before inadequate measures are taken to make the consumer go away I would strongly suggest that if you are reading this you understand these boats cost a little less than the competition for a reason and the reason for the complaints you find with simple online searches have merit and should worry you I am not aware of another boat company out there that has such a sub standard product and service as Epic Boats My personal experience with this company has been lackluster and disappointing at best Truthfully I feel as those this company stole my hard earned money and laughs at the notion they should be responsible for major defects such as the gel coat, hull cracks, hatch defects, and other major defects in manufacturing quality of the boat Please consider looking elsewhere if you are a boat dealer considering selling these boats if you intent to stay an honest person If you a potential buyer of this product, why would you buy a product with such mixed reviews Its too much risk for a reason
My Epic boat is an awesome boat! I love the Carolina flair of the bow! Believe me I have been in some rough Atlantic Ocean waters and no one has been set yet! It's a Great Lake , river , bay fishing machine! In comparison to all other boats similar you can't beat the performance, ride, or price !
After reading some of the negative reviews written I would like to put in a positive review. I purchased my first Epic 22 a little less then 2 years ago after owning two other brands and this by far has been my favorite boat. I liked it so much that I just traded in my Epic 22 and upgraded to a Epic 23. I feel as the boat is very well built and can easily compare to those that are way more expensive. If you are looking for a great boat with a dry ride and can handle any chop given whether it be in a bay or out deep sea fishing the Epic is definitely one to look at. I love mine.
Hello I purchased a boat from epic 2 years ago, and it was the best decision ever! The factory was super friendly and kept me updated all the time. It took 6 weeks and they would send me pictures through out the process.super impressed.
My Epic boat is an awesome boat! I love the Carolina flair of the bow! Believe me I have been in some rough Atlantic Ocean waters and no one has been set yet! It's a Great Lake , river , bay fishing machine!
In comparison to all other boats similar you can't beat the performance, ride, or price !
