Epic Lawn Care

I am sad to see a negative review for Epic Lawn Care. I have been using [redacted] and his crew since they were just a small start up. I have always been impressed with their quality or work and honesty. Their prices have been lower than their competitors for quite some time even though they do the same quality if not better than some of the other big companies in town. As they have grown, I think they have struggled a little with new crews etc as all small business's do, but I have always had great correspondence and customer service with the company. Complaints big and small have always been taken care of promptly and I have even had a personal phone call from the owner and staff after hours to make sure I was taken care of. The owner went out of his way once to stop by on a Sunday afternoon with his little boy in tow to check on my irrigation for me. As an elderly single lady, I have been more than impressed with Epic and highly recommend them.

Review: In November epic lawn care came to blow out my pipes during the process of their service my zone 3 pipe was broken (water came through the ground causing a hole in my sod). Last month I received a call from them stating I hadn't paid for the service as apparently they were sending my bill to the wrong email address I paid the bill the same day they sent it to the correct address. During this call I told the lady that my pipe had been bursted during their service she told me ill talk to my boss and see what we can do. About a week later I received a call from epic stating since this occurred during our service we will send someone out to fix it for free. After numerous no shows and rescheduling someone showed up to fix this he stated to me that he thought the bursted pipe was due to my fence post (the pipe was next to the post but this was only after it had already been bursted and shifted as this is the same pipe I had been using the entire year for my dripline with no problems) he then stated I can run the new pipe and cap it off. (An easy fix) not once was I ever told I would be billed for any service as this happened during their original service. A week later I received a bill for 90 dollars and now they are stating that during their "assessment" they don't think that it was their fault and I should have to pay for it. How does a company get away with telling me it would be free due to it happening during their service then fixing the pipe without telling me by the way were going to charge you.... I put the original system in and I could have fixed that pipe for 5 bucks if someone would have told me in the process they were going to charge me 90.... Now they are flat out denying responsibility and making me pay 90 dollars this is unfair and wrong and needs to be fixed. I will pay the bill as I don't want my credit messed up but it is ridiculous that I am treated this way and I want it to be know that this is how they do their business....Desired Settlement: I Should be refunded for my money or be given no charge as this is what was told to me and I wish the Revdex.com would share this with anyone who would like to know how they conduct their business. I would also like their business to be reprimanded.

On 4/20/2013, I was doing collection calls for customers with outstanding balances. Gabriel [redacted] had a open balance for the sprinkler blowout service we performed for him on 11/17/2012
