settlement for ten creditor accounts. We were able to contact eight of the ten creditors and notify them that we would be making reduced payments on the accounts. There is no formal paperwork for this type of settlement, as we were just simply notifying them of the reduced payment. Typically they will either accept the reduced payments, or deny them. If they denied them, we would typically arbitrate with the creditors that did not accept the reduced payments, and restructure the settlement. We advised the customer to make a set amount of payments to each of the creditors after we contacted them. We were notified that all of the creditor accounts were being disputed with the credit bureaus. We determined that this could be fraudulent activity, and notified our client rightaway. She had knowledge of these disputes, and did not seem to understand how disputing accounts that we were about to settle could affect her or how it was fraudulent. We notified the credit bureau of the fraudulent disputes, as this is not something that we want to get involved in.We were paid to settle the accounts, and that is exactly what we did. We contacted them, set an amount, notified our client of the amounts, and had planned follow-up for creditor denials. The client failed to pay the settled amount, and disputed the accounts with the credit bureau. We have withdrawn due to suspected fraud as indicated above, and will not be issuing a refund, as none of our fees are refundable due to negligence.Thank you,Andy B.- CEO
