Review: I was a Kickstarter backer for a project to develop and deliver a new type of charger. Now a year passed the promised delivery date with no product and no communication from the company about the progress of the charger, it is clear it was a scam.Desired Settlement: I would like my pledge of $115 refunded.
Review: On February 11th, 2013, I backed a project on Kickstarter from Epiphany Laboratories (a division of Epiphany Solar Water Systems.) Website here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/epiphanylabs/epiphany-one-puck - They promised to finish creating a device that will charge USB powered devices by using hot/cold temperature differences to create electricity. The project was successful and they seemed excited. Device was estimated to be ready in March 2014.During the past 16 months since they received funding, there has been ZERO updates with any information about the device or real demonstrations of the test device they supposedly had. The few updates they produced promised more information leading up to the March shipping date. They also gave no indication that they would not make this deadline. There have only been six updates since April 2013. They have not answered ANY communications from any source. We tried contacting them through Kickstarter, their website at http://epiphanylaboratories.com/ , and even on social media. They have been absent from their duties.Desired Settlement: Since they have given up on delivering this item or even talking about it, I would like a full refund of the price paid, $99
Review: Funded a kickstarter campaign created by epiphany labs. They have missed the delivery date and refuse to answer emails or provide updates.Desired Settlement: $115.00
