Epix Gear

I preordered a tri suit from the business in April. It was shipped late May and arrived June 2018. On first wear, the zipper broke. I immediately emailed the company about this and was encouraged to send the item back for repair, which I did through USPS with a tracking number. UPS then provided the tracking number and showed someone had signed for delivery. The tracking number no longer works, but Epix claimed non-receipt, even though there was a signature that UPS had to show delivery.

The business has refused to refund me the money or send me a replacement tri suit. I tried to charge back with Chase, to no avail. The business has offered a replacement suit at a cost - I should not have to pay extra money to get a replacement for a faulty item.

I ordered an item for $146.50 in good faith and it was faulty. I returned it for repair in good faith only to be told by both UPS and the business that neither is going to assist me in getting my money back. Good business practice would be to refund my money. Offering another custom made suit at a cost to me makes no sense. It means I end up paying $75 over and above the $146.50 I already lost and the business still makes a profit on my loss and their faulty item. The business has stopped trying to resolve this. Please assist me in getting my money back.
