Review: I bought the Dark Shadows Complete Series DVD Box Collection in January, off of www.epopulardvd.comThe company is based out of the US. After I placed my order, I was informed that the product was going to be coming from China. When I received the product in the mail, on the outside of the package, with the invoice/shipping information. It was all in Chinese writing. The only thing that was inEnglish, was my name and address. When I opened my package, there was damage to my DVD Box. But, how could I send it back when the shipping information is in Chinese, and I can't read Chinese. The Complete Series includes 1245 episodes. I have been watching the episodes for a few.months now. I started watching it after I received the DVDs. With that many episodes, obviously it would take me awhile to watch them. When I came towards the end of the series, I came to Disc 117, Episodes [redacted]. Those episodes are not on the disc. It has Episodes 144-152 on that disc, which are from the beginning of the series. So I am having those episodes repeated. I checked my other discs to see if those episodes might be on there and they were not. I am very upset that I spent the money to have the Complete Series of a show and I don't have every episode. To buy this collection with that many episodes, wasn't cheap. I also didn't spend the money to have my box be damaged. On their website, the product description says that it is new and it includes every episode of the whole series. I feel like this is false advertising, when it didn't include every episode and the box was damaged. When I realized that I had episodes missing, I sent an email to their Customer Service Dept. I was kind and courteous to them, explaining the situation that had happened. I sent them 2 emails and I have not heard anything from them. I feel like they are ignoring me because they don't want to fix the mistake. I really feel like their website could be a scam and that I got scammed. I also believe they are conducting a poor business practice.Desired Settlement: I want my Dark Shadows Complete Series DVD Box Collection to be replaced. I want it to come from the US, not from China. I want it to include every episode of the series. I also don't want my box to be damaged. I believe I am entitled to this because I spent the money to have every episode and not a damaged box.
