complaint ID [redacted]. This is horribly disappointing - it doesn't feel like a resolution, but I understand that you have done what you are able to do. I guess the next step is to seek legal action. Do you have advice on what we do when a company doesn't even show the basic respect of a reply? Any advice would be appreciated.

Review: [redacted], the owner of Epoxy Flooring Company & Liquid Granite Countertops, installed a [redacted]" counter top in our home. We followed all instructions exactly as they were given, including no use of the space for several days and then light use - in fact, we allowed extra days because the counter didn't seem to be drying. Simply put, the product which was applied did not cure correctly. It is supposed to dry completely hard, but is completely scratched and has dents and rings in it. We are careful consumers and as such, we visited another home where this countertop was installed prior to hiring [redacted] for the job. Our finished product is not anywhere close to the one we viewed; the one we viewed was completely hard, as [redacted] had promised ours would be. Something must have gone wrong in the process of this product drying/curing. We called, and [redacted] came back out to our home. He immediately agreed that something was not right with the finished product, and offered to refinish the counter once more - in approximately 5 weeks on May 18th was his earliest opening. He did not call or show up for this work. Weeks passed, and still no contact. We followed up to see when he was coming, and [redacted] informed us that he had unexpectedly moved to Texas, but promised that a man named [redacted] would call us within a day to come out and fix the issue; [redacted] supposedly bought the company from [redacted] never called; [redacted] has not answered the phone (still the published number, which is his cell phone) since. We are left to assume, after another 5 weeks has passed, that he will never make good on this verbal promise to fix the countertop.Desired Settlement: We would like for a trustworthy representative of this company to come back to our home and deliver on Mr. Johnston's promise to try again with the countertop. Our final product is unacceptable; it needs to be sanded down and refinished - this time, correctly. Alternately, our $1400 could be returned in full if no one is able to fix our countertop.
