A little over a week ago, I received in the mail Epson's new catalogue "Introducing the Epson Surecolor P-Series." The advertised price of the Pprinter is $after rebatesI called to order and the sales rep quoted me a price of $after rebatesWhen I referred to the catalogue, she said she knew nothing about the catalogue but could sell me the printer at $in conjunction with my buying a service planShe also said there was no one higher up I could speak with; then told me the Pwas out of stockI contacted Customer Service at a slightly different number and was told that the rep knew nothing about the catalogue and that I would have to email images of the catalogue, which I didA rep called back and told me that that price was available only through authorized dealers, even though the catalogue doesn't not state that and actually says that buying through an authorized dealer could result in additional chargesWhen I mentioned this, the rep said she would have to get back to meNo one has contacted me yetI wonder if anyone has had the same experience frankly I am thinking of starting a class action against Epson

My printer will not print black, 1st time I called they claimed it was my computer and it was going to cost $ to fix (the nice geek squad assured me it was not) 2nd time I called the man said it was my ink (not even low enough to cause the warning) I told him I had new ink but did not want to open it seeing as I could return it I told him over and over it was not the ink and that if I opened the package and the printer still did not work I wanted a refund. Well guess what it didn't work so he gave me a fake number and name (Mark John) I called back told the guy my problem he asked who helped me I told him 4 time he said that is not a name here, I told him then they have a big problem that needs to be addressed, he got louder at me would not hear what I had to say just kept saying call the fake number I was giving I said LISTEN TO ME then he hung up on me. I did not use any rude language I did begin to get louder as the employee did. This is the worst company! I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN!

Bought the Epson Workforce Pro. This printer was barely used for the last year. My color copies were not printing correctly so I called the company support. The guy who answered made me do multiple test that did absolutely nothing. After about 30 minutes he said that I need to have the printer heads replaced or buy a new printer!! This product was JUST outside of the warranty and like I said barely used. This company had no answer for me except to buy a new Epson Printer. Upon reviews online I now see that this is a HUGE reoccurring issue. What a horrible company with horrible customer support. I will never recommend or purchase an Epson product.

am now receiving my Second REFURBISHED WF 3640. I purchased a new one last fall as it was top rated for my needs as a self employed professional. Within 3 months, I needed to contact tech support. They do not understand my questions and answers and make you go through 1/2 worth of bogus tech support before finally agreeing it is a HARDWARE issue and will replace your NEW product with a REFURBISHED product. However, they MUST place a hold on your credit card that will remain til 72 hours after they receive your product in return!
Well, that REFURBISHED AIO just died. And again 1/2 hr on the phone with bogus tech support who asked me the same question many times, and 3 times asked me my phone number for my information. At that point I insisted on a supervisor, who in 3 minutes did confirm my account and that I would be sent another REFURBISHED AIO! Same process, with a hold on my account.
This is outrageous. No other tech has EVER placed a hold on my credit card as such, and I've had it with REFURBISHED. Sometimes refurbished is actually better than new. Not in Epson's case.

My dealing with Epson has been aweful. Out of box failure gets a refurbished exchange. Purchased an XP600. Had to send it out for repair 3 times before I got one that worked taking about 10 days each time. The one that finally worked looked like it had been cleaned with a brillo pad. All scratched up. This worked for about 8 months and failed again. Now out of warranty I didn't learn my lesson. Purchased a Remanufactered XP800 direct from Epson online figuring they send them out anyway if you need repair. This was DOA. Must now return for exchange again and who knows what I will get as a replacement. Stay away from Epson! Poor product quality, high ink costs and poor company policies!
