Equinox Club

Review: I signed up for an Equinox corporate membership through my employer, American Express. Before doing so, I corresponded with an Equinox "membership adviser" (essentially just a sales representative), who assured me, in writing (which I have saved and shared with Equinox), that I could cancel my membership at any time. I'm currently trying to cancel my membership, but Equinox refuses to honor the "cancel anytime" guarantee I received prior to joining their gym. They instead have already charged me for the next month's services (even though it isn't the next month) and refuse to refund me the amount. They insist that there's a 45 day cancellation period, despite being shown the promise I was given before signing up.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my membership cancelled and my credit card refunded the amount of that was billed for next month.
