Thank you for notifying us of this complaint. In response to the
customers complaint of:
C: An Equipbid employee came to my home to facilitate an
A: [redacted] is not an employee of [redacted] has his own auction company
"[redacted] Auctioneers". His
website is [redacted]
We can only assume [redacted] made an agreement with
complainant to sell her goods or services.
In doing so, he then chose our online auction company software and buyer
base to liquidate the items. As noted on
the sale, BAC in Time ([redacted]
[redacted]) is listed as an independent affiliate.
Anyone Equip-bid sells directly for, we have them sign a
sellers agreement. As for [redacted]
Auctioneers, they are no longer affiliated with us, nor will they be in the

company was paid online via credit cards from the winning bidders
A: This is correct, that is how our online system works. Buyers pay their invoices and pick up items,
we then in turn pay the affiliates (or seller directly if we had contract with
C: They
still have not paid me to this day!

[redacted] is responsible for paying his customers.
Just as if he chose to use craigslist or anything else to sell, they
didn't have the agreement with the customer, nor are they the ones who should
C: The
auctioneer [redacted] keeps saying that the owner [redacted] keeps
writing him bad checks and its not his fault
A: We have
never wrote him bad checks. We have
stopped payment to him b/c he was overpaid on a previous sale that he didn't
deliver an item to the customer on. He
had been overpaid for some sales that he had sold prior. As our system clears any more items, we will
pay him what is due, not until then
C: I've
also been in contact with the owner MANY times and he is blaming [redacted]
[redacted], saying that he wrote the check to [redacted] to disburse to me and that
[redacted] has already cashed the check andpocketed my moneyThe owner also
stated that [redacted] has done this to another woman before
A: True, we explained what we are
explaining hereThis issue with [redacted] Auctioneers happened in a very short
time, as soon as we found out what was going on, we terminated relations with
C: Both
parties keep blaming each other and I still have not received my moneyThey
sold my belongings on their website for over $300!
A: We show
items that were sold, paid for, and picked up totaled $ (this does not include what any commissions
charges were) Our solution to this is to
pay the complainant the $directlyWe can do this only because we some
settlement money due [redacted] as of 2/3/from another auction, not this one
(it was pending an item finally delivered to customer UPS tracking code
available on request to verify) We will pay complainant the $directly,
and deduct it from [redacted] Auctioneers final paymentAgain, not our
process, nor our responsibility, but because of [redacted] Auctioneers
irresponsibility in this, and other matters, we will take care of it. I have spoke with complainant and was able to
explain how we paid, how our system works, and how we can resolve that since we
have settlement monies now. She said she
was happy, I hope this resolves the issue
