Excellent service both outgoing and for return

Review: I sent equipatron an email, asking if an engine they had listed on [redacted] would work as a replacement engine for the current one in my lawnmower. I provided identification numbers for the engine, so they would have enough details to properly answer my questions. The email response I received from them was less than courteous. First, they did not answer any of my original questions; none of them. Second, they tried to upsell me an engine that was a couple hundred dollars more expensive. I sent an email in response to the reply, stating I was not interested in any other engines and just wanted to know about the engine in the listing. I was immediately blocked and never received any answers to any of my questions or given a reason for being blocked. I did contact them through their website later, but feel they are in the business of making upsells to gain more profit, in the form of bait and switch tactics, and they are not consumer friendly. It seems they care ONLY about their 100% rating on [redacted]. This is bad business practice, and unfair to consumers who don't know any better.Desired Settlement: I would like my original questions answered. I do not want to know about an engine that costs much more and has too much power for my application. I want other consumers to not have to fall for these bait and switch tactics. If a customer has a question, that question should be answered, first and foremost. If there are other options available, that should be secondary information shared to the customer, instead of having something they don't want, or didn't ask for, shoved in their face. I would also like to be unblocked; I need an engine so my father can have a good riding mower to use.

Ordered 2 Briggs fuel pump springs from this company for a total of $4.14,and shipping of $8.87, via FedEx. They shipped USPS first class mail for $.49 leaving them an additional profit of $8.28. Contacted their customer service for an answer and was told that flat rate shipping is their policy. If they had shipped it FedEx as indicated I would have no complaint. Beware of doing business with them, I would not be surprised, that others have had experiences like this with them, but have not complained.

Needed to replace the chute on my Craftsman snow thrower. Equipatron.com had what I needed at a price 37% cheaper than Sears PartsDirect. Item was shipped the day after I placed my order with a reasonable shipping cost. The chute was the perfect replacement part just as advertised on Equipatron's web page. This was my first order from them a overall a great experience.

I have shopped numerous times on line and in local businesses but I have never experienced the quality of service, knowledge of product and the determination to satisfy my request as I received from Amanda. Equipatron is very blessed to have someone of that caliber employed in their company. Thank you [redacted] for all you did for me.

I ordered a replacement engine for my splitter on a Wendsday recieved it on Friday. Back splitting wood Saturday morning. Not only quick delivery, but their before the sale customer service was great. Matched me up with the exact replacment engine. What else can I say?

I have a Craftsman rider mower that had an engine failure(hole in side of block). I called Equipatron, gave them the model number, they suggested a motor and we agreed on a price. The new motor arrived about 3 days later. It was bolt in. Had to rework the exhaust a bit. This was July of 2012. I could not be happier with the motor or the service. Saved me at least $700.

Ordered 2 sets of mower blades.

Only received 1 set with no indication of status on 2nd set.

Pros - Fast shipping

Cons - Only got 1/2 of what I ordered.

I rarely write positive reviews (99% of my reviews are negative!) but in the case of this company I thought I would take a minute here because I had an exceptionally positive, trouble-free transaction. I bought an engine from these guys and am just thrilled that it arrived in absolutely perfect condition and in just 2 days!!! I finished installing it for my 85 year old neighbor and it works perfectly. So, here is one of those rare cases of "no problem", no shipping damage, no confusion. Businesses that get the job done should be complimented and patronized. That way, the next time people need something, these GOOD businesses will still be around. These guys appear to be pretty good and I hope I can buy another engine from them.

Equipatron staff helped me locate a replacement engine for my Gravely Lawn Mower. I am very comfortable buying online, but in this instance, needed some expert support since the engine number was no longer available. Dan, the customer service rep, called Kawasaki to find the correct replacement part. I ordered it, and within 3 hours, the motor was shipped, free. The motor was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition 3 business days later. It was an absolute pleasure to install. It fit perfectly, cranked within a couple of pulls, and runs like a dream. Buying an $1,167 motor from Equpatron and installing it myself, saved me well over $1,100 in charges from the local Gravely Dealer. I couldn't be more impressed with the quality of service, quality of product and speed of response. I would and have recommended them to friends.

Ordered a weed wacker $275.00. Waited 3 days when I checked on it they said they had tried to contact me that it was out of stock and they would not be getting anymore. They said to check my spam, to see if their notification went there, but that didn't show anything. Still waiting to see if I was billed? BE CAREFUL with this Company

Review: I was promised a refund by the company on a defective product and my credit card informs me the company equipatron is disputing the refundDesired Settlement: I 'm due a refund to my credit charge by this company. I can supply emails from the company saying they would refund the defective product

There was some confusion with regards to sending Mr. [redacted] another replacement part instead of a refund. Mr. [redacted] refused the delivery of the replacement part and we have refunded his credit card today, August 24, 2015. It typically takes 24 - 48 hours for the credit card transaction to process. Mr. [redacted] can now cancel the chargeback. We are sorry for any inconvenience this situation has caused Mr. [redacted].
