SHE IS COMPLETELY FAKE HER ETHICS MANNERS STYLE SKILL LEVEL DELIVERY AND FOLLOW THROUGH ARE ALL A SHAM...SHE GOES THROUGH MOTIONS THAT OBVIOUSLY HAVE BECOME A HABIT...THE TWO PAGES OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL I SAW WERE WAY OUTDATED AND LACKED ANY REAL INFORMATION..I WALKED OUT ON DAY 2 BY NOON I HAD HAD IT WITH THIS LADY...IM COMING FOR MONEY AND POSSIBLY THAT FAKE BUSINESS LICENCE ...YOU ARE A DISGRACE AND I DOUBT THIS WAS WHAT YOUR MOTHER INTENDED FOR HER LEGACY...BEEN EASIER JUST TO REFUND ME as I ASKED ...I won't STOP UNTILL a GIVE MY MONEY BACK OR b I PUT YOU OUT OF BUSINESS ...2600 DOLLARS A PERSON FOR BULL NOT A BAD RACKET ...UNTILL ME ...I PROMISE

Review: When I signed up to take the equine massage class I was concerned with my home state's laws regarding obtaining a business license to operate legally in my state. I shared that with the instructor of the course. She advised me that she would work with me to get licensed and to go ahead and make my deposit to hold my seat in the upcoming class. She stated that she would send me curriculum within a designated time that we had agreed on, so that I could start logging study hours to meet that state's requirements. She never sent me the curriculum and when I tried to contact her via email and phone she never responded. I sent an email asking for a refund of my class deposit after the designated time had elasped and after repeated emails and phone calls-she sent a reponse saying that Equissage California does not give refunds.Desired Settlement: I am entitled to the refund because the promised service and goods were not honoured by Equissage California.

Thank you for the opportunity to clarify this situation. In response to the above complaint. The student enrolled in the class online. She sent in her application and deposit for a class beginning in October 2013 after reviewing all the information on our website. It does state that deposits and tuition are non-refundable on our website in a few different places. A few weeks later she contacted me and had some concerns about the route she had chosen because in the state of Washington she would have additional requirements after completing our class. She asked if I could make adjustments to the class to accommodate her and to meet all the requirements the state of Washington has. I told her that I was open to that possibility but that I needed some time to review the requirements that the state of Washington had, discuss with the founder, and see if and how Equissage could improve and grow to better serve our students. I also told her clearly that I had a lot going on and that it would be a big project for me and that I would not have time to begin this until July. I also made no promises as to the outcome. Before I ever began the research, she contacted me saying that she changed her mind and found another program in Washington that she decided to go to. People sign up and reserve their spots in our class, the deposits are always non-refundable and always have been. I will however mail her her deposit back because Its important to me that she feel satisfied. Equissage California

Review: On October 15, 2012 through October 21, 2012 I had paid and attended an "Equine Sports Massage Therapy" certification program offered through Equissage California. I paid a total amount of $2095.00 for the course which included hands on instruction, DVD, CD and book. After attending class which involved lecture and some hands on instruction, I passed my written exam, but failed the equine massage test. My Instructor told me that I made some errors. Instead of showing me the correct hand position, she referred me to my course materials for answers. The DVD and book did not provide a clear visual of the techniques. I was diligent in my studies of the program and I was quite serious in passing my test and receiving my certification to further my educational requirements and career. As a senior I didnt take this course lightly and considered my efforts would increase my business, as this had a direct impact on my future income. After viewing the DVD twice a day for 5 days, listening to the CD during my commute to and from work and viewing the book for approximately 20+ hours, I attempted a second massage exam and failed again. I was told that for an extra $100 the instructor would give me an hour of one on one instruction and that I could attempt the exam a third time. If I failed, I would not receive my certification. This policy was not stated on our contract or on the website. I am a State & National Certified Licensed Massage Therapist and have at least 2,000 educational and recertification hours since approximately 1994 and have NEVER failed an exam. I have contacted the company several times by letter and phone and was told they dont give refunds. The Instructor had the opportunity to show me directly what her expectations were during the course; however, during student participation, she was checking her emails and phone messages, basically ignoring the class. As a senior aged 69 years, I feel that the offer through Equissage Californias Equine Sports Massage Therapy certification program, costing $2095 is a misrepresentation of a certified program. Also, the additional $100 requested from me to pass my test was unethical and unprofessional of a teacher to her student.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of $2095.00 for the entire certification program course as I never got my certification and Sabrina refuses to work with me without requesting additional monies.
