*** *** does not give authorization for a month supply at one timeThey have denied every claim we have tried to send to bill and ship month supplies at onceThe patient is free to call another provider to ask if they will but he will likely get the same answer since *** sets the
rulesWe are happy to enter him into to our automated system that will call the patient monthly and as long as he answers questions stating what supplies he wants we can then apply for auth and ship them once auth is achievedWe cannot ship supplies without authorization and only ship the quantity they will allowEvery insurance company says they cover everything but them paying for it is another storyI am not sure who he spoke to but *** has repeatedly told us they will only pay for one month at a timeWe will find out if he is eligible and can ship this time and then enter the patient into the automated system that will call him monthly or one of our staff will to confirm he wants and needs everything before shipping. Most all insurance companies will not allow us to ship without prior auth and or speaking with the patient first but we are happy to ship supplies to them monthly once we gather what *** needs for us to bill if that is acceptable to the patient

I personally called *** *** twice within the last days at ###-###-#### and talked to two different reps. Both reps told me that they did not see any claims from United Respiratory Services that had been denied. I would like United Respiratory to show me the paperwork they have from *** *** services denying CPAP supplies. I would also be agreeable to having a 3-way call with *** *** and United Respiratory

Spoke to the patient today after speaking with Tricare and shipped him one month supply at no charge and submitted auth(reqd for amount over $150) to Tricare for a 3 month supply for him and his wife. Going forward we will be submitting the required authorization to Tricare for his 3 months supply. The patient was happy with resolution and I provided him the direct number for our resupply team , my direct number and my cell phone. The patient has the path to contact me directly if any more problems and stated he would log on to consider the complaint resolved.Ron E[redacted], CEOValley Respiratory Services
