We hired this company for a bathroom remodel. We saw them at the Kitchen and Bathroom Renovation show at the Winnipeg Convention Center in January of 2015 and made contact with them the following week.
Stephanie came out and gave us a quote and we considered it along with two other quotes. Stephanie was agreeable with all the things we wanted in our shower remodel and assured us we could have exactly what we wanted. they were going to be able to fit us in within a few weeks as it wasn't a very big job, removal of the old acrylic shower stall and door and a built in cupboard beside the shower. removal of the old vanity and then installation of a new vanity unit that consisted of [redacted] cabinets and a quartz counter top with an under mount sink, new faucets and shower head and new mixer for consistent temperature control, and then an a bigger shower with tiled walls and a sliding glass door.
The week before they were suppose to start the job we received a call saying there was a problem with the shower base, and they would have to push the start back about a week. We were not happy about the delay but understood. When they came to do the job they removed the old stuff and got started installing the new stuff on day three I noticed that the base was not the size I thought we were getting it was 48" x 32". I was sure we had specified we wanted a 54"x 36" . So as it turned out we got saddled with a smaller shower than anticipated. The workmanship after all was said and done left something to be desired. The grout lines were inconsistent in colour indicating it wasn't mixed properly. One of the tiles was chipped and when I pointed it out I was asked if "I could live with it?" I am living with it because I didn't have confidence in their ability to remove the tile and replace it with a new one. The tiles were large 12"x24". The job was so terrible I wish I had the money to have the whole shower redone. Now we are experiencing mold in the drywall on the walls adjacent to the shower tile along the base and fixed glass door where it should be water tight.. It appears it wasn't sealed and properly treated. Do not use this Company their workmanship does not standup to the test of time.
