Review: This business continues to send me a bill for $18.23 for service that I received in December * 2012. On this same day, I paid $20 and this business continues to claim that they have no record of this payment. Fortunately I used a credit card to make the payment and I do have the records for that. I have faxed the credit card receipt to them twice. Each time I call them they ask me to fax it again. I dont have a fax machine at home. I have to pay to send faxes. Now they have sent me a collection notice for $18.23 when in fact if anything they owe me $1.77 because I have already paid them $20. On a previous occasion I had received a $5 collection notice which I paid although I could not find why I was getting that notice. This has been a repeated practice with this business. If someone pays cash and forgets to keep the receipt, they have no proof of payment. Which is what happened with the $5.00 payment that I let go of. This is happening much too often to ignore.Desired Settlement: I would like to get the billing issue resolved

Parents claim that they paid $20 on 12/**/12 using [redacted]. We called our BANK Merchant service and confirmed that the $20 transaction from 12/**/12 was NEVER transferred into our bank account. We explained that to parents and parents understood and they will call [redacted] why [redacted] DID NOT transferred the $20 payment into our bank account.

We called [redacted] and confirmed that the $20 was taken out of our account. Our liability ends here, money was taken out of our account and should automatically be sent to the merchant's account. We also took an additional initiative to call [redacted] Merchant Services to find out what the merchant can do to receive payments. We were told that the merchant should call the [redacted] Merchant Services directly, give them their account number and ask about the payment. This has to be resolved between [redacted] and the merchant. We have made the payment from our side.

My complaint is not resolved until the merchant send me written confirmation and statement showing zero balance on my account. Once again, they should take this up with [redacted] and stop asking us to pay twice for the same service.
