A scam. Don't do it. Would charge you I don't know how for a service they don't provide.

At least two of our agents have spoken to Mr [redacted] who I feel was very rude from the start The $bid pass allows our customers to give us a proxy bid to place on their behalf .It covers phone support , registration, and proxy bidding Our process is very cut and dry and can be understood in the first couple of lines of our terms of useOur proxy does not guaranty we will win the vehicleI can see that Mr [redacted] bid on a handful of Late model C Malibu vehicles By looking at his buyer center we clearly see that these vehicles are selling for thousands over his proxy .Vehicles may also have a reserve which is a common practice in our industryWe have been in business over years and take very seriously allegations such as being cheats and liars We feel his remarks and request for refund are completely out of line and as a result feel no refund is in order I would also urge him to treat people with the same respect he would expect for himself, a friend, or a family member Sincerely, [redacted]

It is unfortunate that the auction made a mistake and this unit was placed on the wrong carrier. Within minutes of Mr. [redacted] calling we identified the problem and offered to have the vehicle shipped directly to his home at no additional cost . He called back shortly thereafter and said he...

would just like to cancel sale and get his money back . Although having the vehicle sent at no additional cost right to his home would have been a reasonable  solution , as an effort to provide excellent customer service we offered to refund Mr. [redacted] in full as well as refund his bid pass and all fees. I have called Mr. [redacted] and explained that we had agreed to refund him on the first day he called and that this complaint is uncalled for . We have issued a check that will be sent out FedEx today with the understanding that Mr. [redacted] will no longer be doing business with us . Sincerely, [redacted]

A bill of sale was provided to Mrs. [redacted] upon purchase . Typically this is used to have the vehicle picked up from the auction facility ( Vehicle could have been picked up and other arrangements been made by Mrs [redacted] for storage until proper documents were created for her shipping company )....

A notarized bill of sale was provided to Mrs. [redacted] but it is not a normal document provided and is something that has to be created , signed, notarized, and sent to person requesting. We are glad to do whatever we can to help but it is not our responsibility to cover fees because of Mrs.[redacted] had not  researched ahead of time to confirm which documents were needed to transport the vehicle From [redacted] to [redacted]. We went above and beyond our normal procedure which Mrs. [redacted] agreed to in our terms of use and feel Mrs. [redacted] is responsible for the fees incurred .

At least two of our agents have spoken to Mr. [redacted] who I feel was very rude from the start . The $99 bid pass allows our customers to give us a proxy bid to place on their behalf .It covers phone support , registration, and proxy bidding .  Our process is very cut and dry and can be...

understood in the first couple of lines of our terms of use. Our proxy does not guaranty we will win the vehicle. I can see that Mr. [redacted] bid on a handful of Late model C 2015 Malibu vehicles . By looking at his buyer center we clearly see that these vehicles are selling for thousands over his proxy .Vehicles may also have a reserve which is a common practice in our industry. We have been in business over 13 years and take very seriously allegations such as being cheats and liars . We feel his remarks and request for refund are completely out of line and as a result feel no refund is in order . I would also urge him to treat people with the same respect he would expect for himself, a friend, or a family member . Sincerely, [redacted]

The customer ID given does not match the name [redacted] . We require only one bid pass to bid on unlimited vehicles for on entire year. We communicate with the auction as far as bidding goes so it is possible he could have been notified of being outbid right away. Isn't that better ? We have...

delivered the service that was purchased by customer and feel no refund is due . He may want to contact his assigned agent to discuss his bidding strategy .

The process of setting up a billing agreement takes more than just clicking a button . When doing this customer would have been informed what the billing agreement is used for . If the customer did not expect any charges then why was the billing agreement put in place?  We are a good company...

that takes these allegations very seriously . I suggest customer call our office ###-###-#### to see if there is a way we can get her back on track or resolve this matter . If this cannot be resolved with an agent I would be glad to discuss with customer directly . Sincerely ,  [redacted] CEO

We have contacted the customer and resolved this issue . There was an error in the pickup date listed . We covered extra storage fees and customer has picked up vehicle .

We do not always have or claim to have the reserve price on a vehicle and it is made clear we are a proxy bidding system per the terms of use the customer agreed to . Our proxy system is no different in most respects as it bids the vehicles in $100 increments to win the vehicle for the lowest...

possible cost only going up to the bid limit set . In this respect it is better than a regular auction as customers can crunch their numbers to set bid limit without getting wrapped up in the moment  of  an auction and overpay for a vehicle. Our customer should contact one of our agents to discuss his bidding strategy as it appears many of his bids were very low . We have already provided  and will continue to service the customer so we will not offer any kind of refund . We also take accusations like this very seriously. We work hard to try to do the best we can to win vehicles for our customers and have been doing so for many years. I feel this customer is completely out of line .  Sincerely ,  [redacted] CEO

We do not guaranty keys will come with the vehicles as they can be lost or stolen. ( This is made clear in our terms of use ). As a courtesy we paid for a key even though we were not required to do so .  We also make it clear we do not know the timeline on title processing . Although we do our...

best to process the title as quickly as possible there are factors such as [redacted], [redacted], and vendor delays which we have no control over. As far as the $447 charge I only see it once . If customer can provide proof it has been paid twice we will certainly refund him. We feel we have gone above and beyond with customer service both in processing and helping with the missing key .

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  The CEO, who responded to the complaint, offered a number for me to call and resolve this issue.  I did as instructed, called the number and spoke with a woman who was far more helpful and courteous than my previous experience.  They have offered a partial refund which I find fair and acceptable.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.Thank you for mediating this interaction to force a reasonable compromise.

I registered with eRepairables to bid on an item that was up for auction. In order to bid they requested a deposit by wire or cash deposit into their account. I sent a wire transfer thinking that was more secure amd would be easier for them to return the funds to me if I didn't win the item. They received the funds the same day I wired it. Couple days go by while I wait to find out the results of the the auction for the item I was bidding on. Well I ended up not winning the item so I requested that my deposit be returned to me as it states right on their site they would do, it's just a $35 fee, ok fine. So a couple days go by, I don't see thw refund. I call them again and they say that my request wasnt submitted but that will put it in for sure this time. Again, couple days go by and still no refund, I call again and the lady says that thw guy that sends the refunds has been out sick bit that he will do it asap. She even sends me an email claiming they refund was initiated to go back in my account. I wait, 3 more days to by and still nothing then they charge me $35 to my PayPal account. I call them again and they say it was definitely initiated just give it a Couple more days. It has now been 12 days and I still don't have my $2000 back. This company is a scam and now I am going to have to get an attorney involved to get my money back. Don't use eRepairables for anything!

You reply Did you ever get your money back. They have a $3000 deposit, I asked to have returned. I was the highest bidder at the close of their auction on a car. I asked why I didn't win, and they told me that my bid is taken to the dealer auction, and their auction is only a preliminary auction. Of course then the dealer can out bid me by a small amount, and I cannot increase my bid. I was livid to learn that their auction is a farce, and not the actual auctions where the cars are actually bought and received.

This site is a scam. I Pushed two buy it now auctions and hit the agree to terms buttons. Had the money posted for payment. Magically "the Buy it now" gets altered to a Bid that is later used to Jack up the price to someone else being suckered into bidding I suspect.. This happened on several occasions. I think the Department of Justice needs to review this business for its use of the wire's and internet to conduct unfair and deceptive practice involving activities that may end up costing money and loses to innocent victims. This Business site which uses the Internet to cross state lines to solicit people has the Public believe they have the ability to deliver the merchandise being offered for sale. Nothing is further from the truth. Their website make's one agree that the price they are offering is a contract and the money is to be paid or there will be penalties enforced. The business and its employee's {accomplices} own nothing being offered for sale as I have seen, control the web site and use incomming bids to jack up the price before any auction begins. As in my cases the Buy it now button is a elaborate scheme to have a person place a bid in the belief they are purchasing the Vehicle. They go as far as to confirm this contract is demanding you select and consent to their contract. As in my case even if you agree and put up the money in compliance there agreement is worthless and without legal basis..Yet they later admit after collecting money for their services they do not own control nor can they buy anything other than collect money for services they they cannot actually render. Use these people and kiss your money goodbye. Long on excuses and 100 % failed transactions on every occasions renders this site a bait and switch scam.

this website is a scam they charged over 100 dollars for "unlimited buyer" and I have not won one auction I have been the last bidder over 10 times and they respond with Lost when I was the last person to bid how is that possible. I did a wire transfer to have more money in my account to increase the bidding amount and haven't won one single thing. They either respond with Lost or we aren't a dealer you guys did not mention that when I payed the 200 for the unlimited buyer, this is a bad website that doesnt keep its wishes.

Review: I won a 2013 chevy malibu lot number [redacted] for $500 which ended on Wednesday 22 at 12am. I was highest at close of auction with no reserve on it. it sat pending til today thursday 23 and it said I lost it on there site. but it is closed with me as the highest bidder. I Called erepairables and spoke with [redacted] she said she doesnt know but the owner might have pulled item or sold it on another auction site and that there was nothing she can do. I lost 2 other vehicle with me as high bidder as well in the same time frame that send no reserve but now are relisted on the site with a reserve price. I was the only one bidding on those items. I asked her for a refund on the membership fees cancel everything cause they cheated me out on three vehicles that I won and she said she couldnt do that so I asked for her supervisior and after 3 times she put me on hold then I was disconnected. I tried calling back and got the recorder saying they are closed. all vehicles that i've bid on had no reserves on them and now 4 of them have be relisted with reserves and one had disappeared completely that I won. They are cheats and liars and all I want back is my 99 dollars that I paid to them for the membership fee. Im never using this site again and letting all my family and friends know about them.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my $99 dollars because of this. I would rather have the three vehicles that I won and was cheated out of for the prices I won them at but thats not going to happen.

Review: The site says it is for people without dealer licenses to bid. After trying the site I receive an email from them stating how we are pre bidding and giving our highest value that we are okay with paying for the vehicle. So I inquired as to are we just bidding between other people before the vehicle goes up for auction, and they said yes, we take our highest bidder to the auction then. I asked them why I was never told this when I origanally was looking into signing up and they stated it is listed on the site. I told them I called to ask questions before signing up because I do not want to bid unless I am bidding at the actual auction when the dealers are, I do not want to bid up the price before the actual auction for the vehicle and they assured me I am bidding at the actual auction with the dealers. Now, they tell me I am bidding at pre bidding for the chance for my highest bid to be submitted at the actual auction later in the day.Desired Settlement: I would like a 100% refund for false advertising by their staff.

Response:

Customer was informed simply and clearly how proxy bidding works when they agreed to our terms of use:

How do the auctions work?

eRepairables auctions use a proxy pre-bidding system, whereby you provide us the maximum amount you are willing to pay, and we bid as little as needed to win the vehicle. We will only bid up to your proxy bid amount. Think of this as having a personal buyer attend the auction for you, with instructions to bid only up to some specified amount. You are able to enter your pre-bid up until the deadline noted, at which point you will have no opportunity to raise your bid.

Under this system, the winning price is generally not the highest bid, but rather some increment over the second highest bid, provided the seller's reserve price has been met. For a hypothetical example, suppose the seller's reserve price on a vehicle is $7,000, you place a proxy bid of $10,000, the second highest bidder placed a bid of $7,500, and the bidding increment for the auction is $100. Although you bid $10,000, the sale price for the vehicle would be $7,600; the second highest bid plus the auction's bid increment.

I will contact the Revdex.com office Monday to discuss in more detail.

Sincerely,

Consumer

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your rejection of the business's offer.

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this offer appear below:

I contacted them regarding bidding on auctions and they made it sound as if I was bidding at the auction against dealers. this is not ture. I am bidding against other people for the chance to bid against the dealers if I win this auction. Their terms were confusing so I contacted them before signing up and they misled me.

Review: On 10/11/13 I purchased 3 vehicles via this website. They held shipment of one of the titles while they waited for storage fees to be paid. The amount that they calculated for storage fees was incorrect (too high) (wrong number of days of storage). They were initially unwilling to decrease the storage fees despite providing documentation. They eventually corrected the storage fee amount. I paid the storage fees on 11/25/13 They did not ship my title until 12/9/13. My complaint centers on their lack of customer service. They borderline harass you when they are waiting for the immediate payment that they request for the vehicles. When they make an error in math on storage fees they were not willing to resolve this issue in a timely manner. I have now waited 2 months for the title for this vehicle. I cannot drive, sell, or insure the vehicle because of this.Desired Settlement: I would like my bidding pass fee refunded and the brokerage fees on the vehicles refunded. I am not looking for the auction company's fees to be refunded. I spent $ 900 in brokerage fees on these vehicles. I have not received reasonable service in exchange.

Business

Response:

We have reviewed the complaint and our records of case [redacted] and feel the request from the customer does not justify any type of refund.

The customer is seeking a refund of service fees for three distinct and separate vehicle purchases, while the issue raised is only related to one of these transactions.

Next, even for the transaction in question, the service the customer paid for is to have us acquire a vehicle and title, which we performed.

Lastly, while there was some confusion about storage fees, we were able to reach an agreement with the customer on the correct amount and adjusted the invoice accordingly. The customer claims the confusion caused the vehicle paperwork to take longer than expected and thus refund is due, however, this is not appropriate for at least two reasons. First, there are no set timelines for paperwork processing, as we too have to wait for paperwork from insurance auctions, state motor vehicle departments, etc.... Per the Terms of Use to which the customer agreed, "There is no guaranty for the timeline of title processing." So, there was no reason for the customer to have any different expectations. Secondly, Although we try to process title work as quickly as possible there are times where it could take as long as 30-60 days from the time a vehicle is picked up for paperwork to be processed and delivered. So despite any mixup, we still completed the processing in the normal timeframe.

This being said we are willing to refund the customer [redacted]. We want to make sure this gesture is not mistaken for acceptance of the claim but rather to show we are willing to go above and beyond what we feel is our obligation to resolve this matter for our customer.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

I would like to clarify that the complaint was in regards to that costumer service and the time frame for action on their part. The office would not take any action for days on simple issues. They did not follow up with promises made. They did not return emails. The title that they held has not yet been transferred. The original has been shipped, but transferral is another issue. The time they quoted was just for them to ship an original document that they had in hand with complete payment. There is additional fees to have the tittle transferred that are not included.

The website as a whole is of very limited utility and I will not use it again. The online proxy auction suggest that you may be able to win a car for a nominal price. You do not know whether the real auto auction has a reserve or why you were not the winning bidder in many cases. Most of the auctions that are featured are also online such as copart. You can bid on these site in real time. Save your money and don't pay fees for the "service " that this company reports.

On a final note. The estimated values are grossly overestimated on the website. On the three vehicles that I purchased, the values were [redacted] to $[redacted] higher than used value in excellent condition on KBB ect.

I would not recommend this company to others.

Thank you to the Revdex.com for helping some resolution to this problem. The Revdex.com's high rating was one of the reasons that I did business with this company.
