This letter is in response to the complaint that was submitted on 5/19/ On 3/25/Mr [redacted] was to have a head unit installed in his carMr [redacted] brought his own equipment and purchased a dash kit from Ergo Audio to have the component installed Here at Ergo Audio, the standard price for installation of a customer provided head unit is $labor plus partsThis is the price that Mr [redacted] was quotedMr [redacted] was charged $which consists of an installation charge of $75.00, the dash kit of $and $for taxAttached is invoice #This is the exact invoice/charge that Mr [redacted] received This particular job took hours to complete due to the vehicle being an older model vehicle The hourly rate for an installation of customer provided equipment at Ergo Audio is $00, which is far more that what was quoted However, we are an honest shop and thus he was charged $plus parts as he was quoted As for the “tuning ofhead unit”, that does not existWe do nOt “tune” head units here We tune amplifiers and head units are always set to a flat response Mr [redacted] did inquire about having his (2) amplifiers tunedHe was advised that the oscilloscope we use to provide this service was not available and that the service could only be done at arlater dateThis was CLEARLY explained to himWe did not charge him for this service in any way shape or formMr [redacted] did not pay for this service in advance nor did he schedule to have this service doneMqst importantly; HE HAS NOT PAYED FOR THIS SERVICE! On May 6, we received a call from Mr [redacted] He stated that we “Owed” him the serviceAlso that he had since had a 3rd amplifier installed by someone elseHe demanded that we tune all of his amplifiersWe told him that we did not owe him any Jype of service but we would be happy to tune all of his amplifiers as long as he paycd for the service This type of service is normally billed at an hourly rate that can vary from vehicle to vehicle An estimated time for Mr [redacted] s car would be between 2-hours, billed at $jer hour At that point Mr [redacted] flew into a rage and started using vulgar and profane language at several employees here On May 13, 2014, Mr [redacted] , called back and became angry and vulgar with my Administrative Assistant She was on the phone listening to him for minutes when she finally was able to interrupt she explained that she was just the administrative assistant and would have to get back to himLater that day she did call him back with an explanation of charges and once again he was rude and vulgar to herAfter she told me what had happened I called him back and he became very vulgar and I asked him not to call back until he was calm and we would discuss it thenWithin minutes of the conversation he had posted to our corporate Facebook page with the same derogatory comments and languageWe then blocked him from our pageSeveral minutes later he had created a different Facebook account and posted more profane comments with that accountIn total, we have now blocked him from separate Facebook accounts We have tried to work with this customer but due to his vulgarity we have asked for him not to call back to discuss this matter unless he is not yelling, swearing or demeaning any of our employees I have also enclosed some comments that the customer made on our Facebook pageThis is the first time in our company’s 20+ year history that we have started, a file on a customer for harassment - Ergo Audio Ltd

This letter is in response to the complaint that was submitted on 5/19/2014.
On 3/25/2014 Mr. [redacted] was to have a head unit installed in his car. Mr. [redacted]
brought his own equipment and purchased a dash kit from Ergo Audio to have the
component installed....

Here at Ergo Audio, the standard price for installation of a
customer provided head unit is $75 labor plus parts. This is the price that Mr. [redacted]
was quoted. Mr. [redacted] was charged $94.87 which consists of an installation charge of
$75.00, the dash kit of $14.50 and $5.37 for tax. Attached is invoice #16400. This is the
exact invoice/charge that Mr. [redacted] received
This particular job took 2 5 hours to complete due to the vehicle being an older model
vehicle The hourly rate for an installation of customer provided equipment at Ergo
Audio is $69 00, which is far more that what was quoted However, we are an honest
shop and thus he was charged $75.00 plus parts as he was quoted
As for the “tuning ofhead unit”, that does not exist. We do nOt “tune” head units here.
We tune amplifiers and head units are always set to a flat response.
Mr [redacted] did inquire about having his (2) amplifiers tuned. He was advised that the
oscilloscope we use to provide this service was not available and that the service could
only be done at arlater date. This was CLEARLY explained to him. We did not charge
him for this service in any way shape or form. Mr. [redacted] did not pay for this service in
advance nor did he schedule to have this service done. Mqst importantly; HE HAS NOT
PAYED FOR THIS SERVICE!
On May 6, 2014 we received a call from Mr [redacted]. He stated that we “Owed” him the

demanded that we tune all 3 of his amplifiers. We told him that we did not owe him any
Jype of service but we would be happy to tune all of his amplifiers as long as he paycd for

billed at $69 jer hour At that point Mr [redacted] flew into a rage and started using vulgar
and profane language at several employees here On May 13, 2014, Mr [redacted], called

phone listening to him for 30 minutes when she finally was able to interrupt she
explained that she was just the administrative assistant and would have to get back to
him. Later that day she did call him back with an explanation of charges and once again
he was rude and vulgar to her. After she told me what had happened I called him back
and he became very vulgar and I asked him not to call back until he was calm and we
would discuss it then. Within minutes of the conversation he had posted to our corporate
Facebook page with the same derogatory comments and language. We then blocked him
from our page. Several minutes later he had created a different Facebook account and
posted more profane comments with that account. In total, we have now blocked him
from 3 separate Facebook accounts.
We have tried to work with this customer but due to his vulgarity we have asked for him
not to call back to discuss this matter unless he is not yelling, swearing or demeaning any
of our employees.
I have also enclosed some comments that the customer made on our Facebook page. This
is the first time in our company’s 20+ year history that we have started, a file on a
customer for harassment.

Review: I agreed and paid for certain services to be done to my car when I took it to Ergo Audio... not only did they charge me the full amount, I got HALF THE WORK done. Called them MULTIPLE TIMES and had an AGREED UPON deal where they would install AND tune my head unit... that was not done. It took them nearly 3 hours to just pull out my other aftermarket HU and throw this one in... NOTHING and I repeat NOTHING was done to ensure customer satisfaction of the install... heres your keys come back when the tuner is working.... ok? I PAID THEM to have my amps tuned with an O scope... now they tell me no way thats going to be extra we never agreed on that and the person that did doesnt work here anymore, too bad for you your going to be paying to get anything else done... Not only have they not even had a working O scope for the past month... they tell me its going to be ANOTHER 3 WEEKS TIL THEY GET A NEW ONE AND I HAVE TO PAY TO GET THAT DONE??!! sum guys keeps trying to tell me the amount I paid, which was over 100 mind you, was just to install a HU??? Literally nothing on my deck was adjusted or tuned.. something I SPECIFICALLY ASKED AND PAID FOR..... um I would have NEVER agreed to such a ridiculous amount for something as simple as a deck install without the tuning being covered... now they say theres NO WAY theyll touch anything unless I pay... I get pissed and the owner tells me to go fck myself and dont ever call back again, go call the Revdex.com they cant do [redacted] to us anyways hahaha... ya well were going to see who has the last laughDesired Settlement: I honestly not only dont trust these people to even touch a single part of my stereo now, I want at least a 50% refund as HALF THE WORK I PAID FOR WAS DONE. at first they KNEW they were wrong so the owner tried to bribe me and go ohh yeah we can tune ONE of your amps for u, the others you pay for... I dont think so
